I just padded out the wiki page for Drag-on Dragoon 3 but the changes made aren't showing up properly - the submission was approved, I've been credited the points and my additions show up on the page's history, but not on the actual page itself.

What happened? I made an edit last night that reflected immediately, is there an occasional delay when processing submissions or is this a bug?

EDIT: Changes are now showing up, guess it was just a temporary delay.

@clstirens: Sure, I get that we're focusing on it because this is a video-game site and any sane individual should know that the problem isn't exclusive to this industry - the amount of coverage the topic has seen in recent months (including the Tropes vs. Women initiative) has felt very targeted though.

This is an absurd debate. Sexism is a societal problem that isn't exclusive to the gaming industry and highlighting the supposed injustices and discrimination within this sector exclusively is like perpetuating the whole "gaming causes violence" misconception.

Don't worry OP, the game has multiple endings and what's mentioned only occurs in one of them. Hope you enjoy it.

NES: Donkey Kong.

Megadrive: 4-in-1 cart I got specifically for X-Men, which also had Rambo III, Chase HQ and an obscure Japanese platformer called "Mr. Pine".

PC: MDK and Hunter Hunted.

PlayStation: Gran Turismo. Bought it after a friend twisted my arm, didn't even like racing games and probably logged no more than 5 hours on it.

PlayStation 2: Final Fantasy X. Hated it and never completed it, tried taking a second crack at it a few months back and still didn't like it.

GBA: Fire Emblem.

DS: Advance Wars.

PlayStation 3: Metal Gear Solid 4.

I used to think the delay was due to localization and adding in all the additional languages needed for a European release, but there's really no reason I can see for a delay this long. Kojima's been good to EU gamers in the past by giving them extra stuff to make up for the delay though (most of the Subsistence additions in MGS3:SN, Special Edition of ZoE 2, radio drama in Ghost Babel etc), so with any luck we'll get some bonus content.

Hitman: Contracts had a fantastic atmosphere. Instead of just remaking the levels from the first game, each was given an oppressive undertone which may have been illustrating 47's discomfort with what he's done in the past - even the non-flashback missions were pretty dark, as the very first one has you going back through an Asylum littered with the dead clones you killed in the final mission of Codename 47, and the Meat King's party had BDSM patrons loitering around a butchery with dead horses strung upside down from meat hooks.

I run a small forum and used to have a bbcode tag set up for Giantbomb videos, but the embed code changed a while back and has become so excessively convoluted that I can't figure out a new way to make it work (I had it structured before so that all I had to do was reference the video number in the URL).

Does anyone know of a reasonable way to get it working again, or if the GB team plan on simplifying the code again in future?

Considering it was originally supposed to be a mobile phone exclusive, I'm pretty happy it's coming to the PSP. Would obviously prefer a full sequel on either the 360 or PS3, but it could have been worse...

I found a copy of Fire Emblem on the GBA for only R30 ZAR, which is roughly $4... New and sealed with no damage at all, bought it online when someone was clearing out old stock.
