Personally I dont feel that the 'life's too short' argument goes if you do worry and stress more if you dont pay your bills.

Anyway, Gamespy reports it will have a lvl 13 (act 1) trial! Lvl 13 with all the characters will grant you a decent amount of playtime for free. Then you can decide.

There is no doubt i my mind they are testing this to have this possibility when the next console comes around. We as consumers are used to this way of doing it, and we bite the bullet every two years with a mobile.

I'm predicting different models, (arcade, mid and pro/limited), with different entry level fee, but all with the same sub plan. i dont like it personally, but its not a bad idea from a business POV.

What I want:

• Subscriber only video download with torrents.
• Torrent protected with member user / pass to prevent non premium from getting high def,
• RSS feeds of videos published for automatic downloads for users with torrent boxes.

Is it possible to add the subscriber videos to a subscriber only torrent tracker? Im experiencing slow download speeds now, this would definitely speed things up. Especially us european users would get higher speeds due to the other 'server' would be closer. The torrent could also be published with a rss, so that users with a torrent box could download the files automatically.

Is this a feature that could be implemented? If you need some support form the community, how do you organize that sort of stuff?

Im not sure how you would stop non subscribers form getting the high def videos though. But im guessing that what invite only torrent sites does some how.

Speaking of Diablo 3, only 2,5 hours until the public beta starts! W00t!
