Ve
Ventrilo works with one small hiccup.  When using the Speex codec on a server the sound quality of my mic just sucks.  If the GSM 6.1 codec is used the quality is great.  Unfortunately most servers use speex so f'ing macs will work with them.  Anyone have any ideas on a way to fix or improve this.  I have tried quite a few things already.  My sound components consist of a X Fi Titanium PCI-e Fatal1ty sound card and Astro A40 Headset with the Mixamp using TosLink as well as a set of Bose Companion 3's.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I would love the original Panzer General, X-Com, and Falcon 3.0.  God remembering those makes me feel kinda old.  So many hours with those games.

If i were you i would def buy a new PSU with the other upgrades.  I don't think your current one will cut it and if it does itll be borderline like the above poster said which can lead to problems.  Here's a link to 3 different systems.  Hopefully it helps you pick a power supply.

I use a Bose headphones with my TV and Astro A40's with my PC.  Neither of them are cheap by any means.  I have always had good experiences with Logitech and Sennheiser in the past and you can get some of their sets pretty cheap and they are very good for the money.  Newegg.com is a great place to order from.

zyou should be using a 64 bit OS if you have 4 gigs of rami. And I have always had great experiences with my PC Power and Cooling PSU's.  They can be a bit more expensive but they've been worth it.
