@BlinkyTM: I know this, but I'm not referring to these time. I'm referring to when they say they are in the process of reviewing this game and start up a new game or load a early save for the quick look and have cant recall stuff about it. I'm also referring to when they mention playing the past games in the serious yet cant recall jack about them.
The biggest thing I'm referring to tho is when they actually review something and have things wrong. Such as the GTtv review for Saints Row the third in which the reviewer calls the town your in Stillwater even tho its been known forever now that Saints Row the third takes place in Stealeport(sp?)
I don't really care about other site's reviews. Giantbomb and RPS's reviews are the ones I trust most. If you can name a review on GB or RPS that actually got something wrong like that then I will take issue with it, but since I don't know/care about the review process of other sites, the fact that they don't review them properly isn't a big deal to me.
Quicklooks are just a way of showing the game off to the users, there isn't hardcore research or analysis of the game done for them. The main purpose of the quicklooks are to show an unedited experience with the game, and the game should be able to speak for itself in this setting.
Fair enough but why other games get slammed for texture problems but not Bethesda games? In all the video reviews I watched the review were defending the texture problems which made me lol. WTF?!
Because Bethesda gives you a 10 out of 10 in every other area, which makes you forgive the limitations of a console. Other games/franchises don't distract me as well, because they aren't doing the same 10/10 job in all the other areas that matter.
Greatness isn't a democracy. If Skyrim gets a pass on textures, it's because it deserves it, IMO.
Yeah, that's right. The melee combat is 10/10 and the voice acting too. Not to mention the often 1 or 2 dialog choices. ROFL! I don't care any more. Overrated game is overrated. Just like Oblivion. Let's just drop this. Don't reply to me any more. Don't care what excuses people come up with.
Finally, the game is so close now. But I just learned that I have math test next week so I won't be able to play as much as I want to. It's making me sad.
Yep, same situation for me, except I have a Thermofluids midterm, and then a Lab and an assignment due the next day, and then project presentations the next week. *sobs quietly in the corner
I have 2 midterms on Monday! I'm so fucked for them!
Man, I feel for you, that's even worse. I can already feel my brain splitting apart from my need to do well on this test and my need to play Skyrim. My plan is to not buy Skyrim and then yell at my textbooks for putting me through this hell. Then, the first chance I get, I'll be running to buy the game.

@hidys: That's easy, just say everything is shallow and pedantic. But seriously, at least you can play after the test is over. I'm gonna have to spend all weekend studying, that means no Skyrim till at least Tuesday night. I'll probably have too much work to do after that anyway what with projects and assignments and labs, fuck, engineering is frustrating.
Not gonna lie, I've never seen these before. I felt my heart jump on each of those scares, even when I was expecting another one the second time. Lol, good times.
