And my opinion of humanity drops ever more still. I wonder how low I can think of the general populace before I start becoming a recluse hermit. If I were to graph my opinion of humanity it would be a steady, exponentially steeper decline ever since I got out of elementary school. It will be interesting to see if there is a bottom.
Not that it matters anyway, well all kill ourselves soon over food/water shortage, failing that a financial crisis will give rise to national extremism, failing that the world will be inhabitable in a hundred years anyway.
@uomoartificiale: I get what you're saying and I totally support your push for higher quality. If you look at my earlier post I explicitly said that I would support full HD videos on youtube.
I also believe that the "just pay for it" argument is bullshit and I never even hinted that I thought like this.
The screenshots are meant to show that the quality that non-subscribers get with the old player is nearly identical to the youtube version. I would like to add that the youtube version does seem to fluctuate between lower and better quality, and I took several sceenshots and chose the one with the worst quality for youtube. The name is quite blurry on both players but I am only able the make out the first part on both versions anyway. If you look at the screen as a whole they do look very similar in my opinion. In the end it does come down to opinion, and I guess most people here can tell a difference. I can't personally.

I think they look almost identical, in fact the youtube looks slightly sharper.
As a paying member I wouldn't mind if they uploaded the youtube version in HD. Just saying the 360p isn't really a downgrade of quality.

I actually noticed things looked a lot better on this QL specifically. So Youtube's compression or whatever only seems to negatively affect some videos. Although there wasn't a lot of difference in the QL you posted screens of, some videos look noticeably worse. I mean, the most recent ILM is clearly much worse than before. The small thumbnail of Ryan's face in the corner is really lacking in detail. In many videos, WM's 360p >>>>> YouTube's 360p, so getting a downgrade sucks.

Yeah, it's a pretty major show over here. Some other myths include that that the terms UK, Great Britain and England are interchangeable and that everyone in England, Britain or the UK has one single accent.
I have to admit my ignorance of this, I knew UK and England were not interchangeable but until now I did not know that Great Britain referred to the actual island, always thought it was another version of UK.

I dunno I wasn't hunting or fishing so I really wasn't paying attention to where I was in Minnesota. My point was that stereotypical Canadian accents are really more representative of Minnesota and such.
It's called the yooper dialect, it's rare but I have heard some of my Canadian compatriots speak with the accent. If Americans think that the accent is exclusive to Canada though, I suggest you watch a little movie called Fargo.
