@Pinworm45: It's really the same idea though. Because the people that say they hate something because "Everyone Loves It" are mostly the hipster crew that likes to think they hate society in general.
I think literally everybody will have general negativity toward something because other groups of people they don't like enjoy it en masse.
It's just some people will admit to this, while others will dismiss it completely because it's such an idiotic way of thinking, but everybody has this function of their brain.
Like I think Daniel Tosh is funny, but I kind of hate him because of all the douchebags that worship him.
I read through everything, and I think basically any game worth playing has been said.
Oh, and Donkey Kong Country Returns is really good if you have nostalgia for those old games. Also hey BoG, I don't even know if you remember me, but this is a completely different account than the one I used to have two years ago.
So I just got home with the game, but am at complete indecision over what path I want to take, so I'm going to leave it to the Giant Bomb community to offer their cases on why one is more favorable over the other. I think it'll be interesting to see which is more popular
LA Noire is a thinking mans game and I can't applaud Rockstar enough for trying to appeal to a more mature audience with their games this gen. It's not for everyone. And I'm pretty sure every review I've read of this game has had that exact disclaimer somewhere in the subtext, but it's a great game for those of us who are tired of Action games and can't really dig sports or racing titles. There aren't many games in existence that actually try to break out of that mold of, "Go here, shoot guy, go over there, shoot guy"...and I think they totally nailed it with LA Noire. Bravo Rockstar!
QFT. There's no easy way to say "You didn't enjoy the game because you're not smart enough" without sounding like a dick. But I think you nailed what I enjoyed about the game, maybe some people just like more immediate gratification.
You know, this show is really old. and it didn't last, at all.
However, despite all the hate AOTS gets, I think it's legitimately a good show. It feels very non-scripted, and you really see the hosts personalities a lot of the time, which leads to a lot of genuinely funny improvised humor. It's also a pretty good tech-news source. Unfortunately, everything else on the network is utter-shit, with X-PLAY being only mediocre.

Name one line of dialogue that isn't meant to be an inside joke for MGS fans that's dumb. The voice acting is still beyond what most games even do, hell...most games don't even reach half the quality of MGS voice acting. "
Let me preface this by saying that I absolutely love ever MGS game, and MGS4 may be my favorite game of all time, so I'm only playing devil's advocate here.
That being said, Ocelot making finger-guns and yelling "BANG" to bring down helicopters is some dumb shit.
