So I've played through this game a little, and it's pretty good. But I LOVE the art style. And what it's really done is made me want to go out and find other side-scrolling/metroidvania games with similar pixel art styles, but I haven't really had a lot of luck finding them. Does anyone have any suggestions?

For sure. I mean, that's something they were all pretty equally into. This instance was Dan literally coercing people that didn't want to do something into doing it. It's a habit, too. Look at his off-site videos with Austin Creed/Xavier Woods. It's exactly the same stuff.
