I've noticed energy drinks have kind of gone by the wayside at Giant Bomb. There's no energy drink board if you've noticed. Will hamburgers rise up to take over as the next great tangentially related thing to games for Giant Bomb?
I can't stand how much they try to sex up their hosts, which is why i think olivia munn is terrible. When Sarah Lane was a host, her and Kevin had actual chemistry. I dunno, man, i guiltily do watch that show more than i should solely because it used to have games and now i search and find very little. It just makes me sad and i wish somehow they could bring back what they once had.
I think its a terrific setlist, just because I'm so exited for a great deal of songs, but other people are even more exited for songs I haven't even heard of. It's a testament to the diversity and quality that's on the list. Personally I'd like to see more classic rock that all the 90s stuff, but thats mainly cause i haven't heard many of that stuff. I bet I'll love it. Keep doing what you're doing Harmonix with what with the all making the world a better place thing.
I personally hate AOTS, Kristen Holt, and all the shows that don't have to do with games (except Ninja Warrior which I indefensibly like). X-play is okay, but they've made Morgan with so much less personality than she actually has. I started watching in 2002 when the channel had a soul. I thought many of the hosts were quite good, esp. Diane Mizota from Filter and that quirky dude (Cory Rouse i think) from Cheat!. I watched Judgement Day regularly.
I know a lot of people though who really like the channel now though, so yeah. What do you guys think of what G4 has become and what it was before?
