Yeah, the TotalBiscuit WTF is pretty much what helped me decided that there is no way I'm spending 60 dollars on this. TB plays with SLI Titan and a 3930k, thats 2500 dollars in CPU and GPU, and the game DOES NOT RUN AT 60 FPS on ultra, with an absurdly powerful rig. So the game is optimized like shit and doesn't look pretty enough to rationalize that kind of performance. Fuck that. No thanks.
So I just finished Transistor. I was a huge fan of Bastion. I actually think the combat in Transistor is better and more interesting than Bastion. However, I think most people who aren't digging it may be put off by the tone. It's kind of somber and strange, I don't know exactly how to articulate it. But, there really is no way they can create another character as great as Rucks. Still, I think the game is fantastic. I feel like I know less about this world than I did about the world of Bastion now that I am finished. The writing is still super sharp. What do you guys think?
Also, I finished the game only having 14 of the 16 functions, did I miss something? Or do you think leveling up in new game plus will fill this out I guess?
I'm a dog lover, what can I say? And the fact that he was guarding the grave of his master just made we want to kill him less. The music is also really fantastic for this particular boss fight. Man, and that limp animation when he gets low on health, you really feel like you are putting the poor beast out of his misery.
It took me back to Shadow of the Colossus when each time I kill one of the Colossi, I felt like a monster.
So guys, have you ever really, really not enjoyed killing a specific character in a game???
In my very first match of Titanfall I turned the voice chat volume off completely and will never turn it back on.
I don't talk to people when I play online. My friends and I will do a Skype call or Steam call, but the last thing I want to do is hear some shit nuggets who won't shut up while I'm trying to have a good time.
