Top 10 Games I Have The Fondest Memories Of

These are the top 10 games off of the top of my head that I can remember having the most fun with over the years. Might not be the "best" games ever released, but for some reason they seem to have stuck with me as being especially made of awesome. This list is in no specific order.

List items

  • We all know how awesome this game was when it was released, and I for one don't think I've ever been more hyped for a game than MGS.My school books from back then are totally scribbled down with "Metal Gear Solid - Tactical Espionage Action". So awesome. Dude, I was such a nerd..

  • I'll probably never get as good at a fighting game as I used to be at Tekken 2. Damn you, adult life!

  • I am not proud of the total amount of time I've spent playing this game. Shame is more the right word for it.

  • Best Christmas gift I ever got as a kid, bundled with the G-Con. I might be the only one, but I sort of miss light gun games in a way

  • My last year at high school, we used to play this one for hours each day, waiting for a teacher to arrive. (they usually didn't.)

  • One of the best and funniest point'n'click adventures ever, from the guys who really knew how to make 'em. Cant remember how many times I've actually played through this game.

  • Another great point and click adventure game. I played this on the original PlayStation, needless to say that the PS controller isn't the best way of playing these types of games in any stretch of the imagination. This game is sooooo effing hard compared to my #7, even with a manual it would take you a good 60 hours or so to complete this game.

  • OK, I'm getting tired of writing a bunch of obvious comments. You know this game as well as I do and why it was awesome.

  • one of the coolest and most uniquely stylized shooters I ever owned. Great character lineup. (except for the monkey. Seriously, f*** that guy)

  • The setting, the story, and the revamped and super polished gameplay mechanics made this game my favorite so far this year (I know its an '09 game, but I just came around to playing it May this year)

  • hands down my favorite GTA

  • This might not count, but dude.. All the Mario's in one game? Yeah..

  • Probably the bang for your buck game purchase ever released.

  • One year as I was growing up, we started sitting down every other Friday with my mom, my younger brother and my stepdad, and play the shit out of this game. Just the Vikings table, all night, every time. We probably did this for a period of almost 6 months.
