Played 2 on the PS2 and FP on the xbox. Perhaps a bit dated now but definitely one of the best FPS to embrace that generation of consoles. I really loved its sense of humour, its fluid animation and its creative character design and the mutliplayer was buckets of fun. Oh and the hours upon hours ive spend on the level editor, good times. Really REALLY hope that Crytek UK makes a new one.
I got it for the PC and that was my top game for 2009, if not of the decade. And as for DA2, ill wait to see gameplay footage of the PC version before it I decide to buy it or not. Even though im a bit bummed out that you cannot choose your race or see your exact responses to dialogue, if they manage to have a damn good interface which takes full advantage of PC controls like the first one then its an instant buy for me. I played DA2 on the 360 at Eurogamer Expo and I found the controls baffling. Mind you it was still playable and im sure you can easily get used to them but it makes much more sense to play this game with a tactical view and a keyboard/mouse layout.
I vote this for the next Giant Bomb endurance run. Also can you please post a picture of the "Excelsior" collectible card? I wonder what's so emmm excelsiastic about it.
It's either Dead Rising 2 or Fallout New Vegas. Ive never played the first Dead Rising so DR2 was a very unique gaming experience for me. On the other hand ive put 90+ hours over 2 complete playthroughs on New Vegas. Would definitely have been game of the year if it wasn't for all those crippling bugs.
