Just listened/watched the PAX Bombcast and was wondering what your feelings are on the highest and lowest point of the panel this year. 
 
High point: Green, Pachter and Whitta mixing it up, playing up what it's like to be an old geezer and into the games industry. 
 
Lowest point:  John Vignocchi's Ice-T impressions. This probably sounded much funnier while in casual conversation, but I felt it was just a little embarrassing on stage. It was a bad idea, imo. Sorry, John. :(

Most of the bouts I have in GoW 2 involve glitching the environment cover mechanism to move faster and shotgun duelling. Also, the lancer chainsaw is now useless because of how far away you have to be to use it.

I was a bit underwhelmed, tbh. I will likely give it a second try to further crystallise my thoughts.

Ever since the old Final Fantasy games, S-E have never really got PC porting down. My advice: show your discontent; don't buy the PC version of the game.

It would be a bold move scrapping the PS3 version of the game considering the amount of people who would likely buy it.

MMOs have always been some of the most demanding PC games. Massive RAM hogs, they are.

Yeah, I was gonna say, there's a thread on the [H]ardOCP forums about this issue.

Sorry, I meant "Weird that benchmark ran well", not "badly".

I really don't have a clue, sorry. I heard the ATi 4800 cards had compatibility problems with the game, but obviously that doesn't apply to you. Weird that benchmark ran badly, as well. And your comp seems to be high enough spec. 
 
It sounds like an optimization or compatibility issue on S-E's part. I also remember them mentioning how the game had memory issues, thereby delaying the console development.
