No mention of Darksiders 2 is a good thing right? I mean a good thing for all of those people looking forward to playing it, (count me among that crowd). Please do not be delayed again.

I ordered Kingdoms of Amalur off of Amazon about a week ago and it came in the mail today. I'm gearing up to play the game now as I read this. I find it to be an amusing coincidence.

@DarthOrange: inFamous1 is my favorite game of this generation.......until Skyrim was released. I will be picking up inFamous2 very soon, it's been too long in between my play though of the first game and the sequel

Cool, thanks guys, good to know. This just motivated me to fire up the first inFamous again and hunt down the remaining blast shards on my save file. I'm watching the quick look of inFamous2 right now and I'm getting pumped to pick up this game.

So I'm going to be picking up inFamous2 this coming Friday and I was wondering if there is a game save import similar to the Mass Effect franchise between the two inFamous games?

I still have my imFamous1 save file and I was hoping this would be the case, even though I am aware very little meaningful things can be transferred between the two games. Mostly I just do not want to have to slog through half of a game to build up my powers again. I want what I built up ffrom 1 to transfer into 2.

This is all fine and good and I'm honestly excited for the possibilities that come with the access to better and more equipment for GB, but like alot of people I'm worried. Both Jeff and Ryan adamantly say that the management team that led to Jeff's dismissal four years ago are gone. I believe that as well as the story Jeff told yesterday.

What I wonder/worry about is, managment teams come and go, by Jeff and Ryan's own admission the one that got Jeff fired are no longer at Gamespot. The possibility of another group of higher ups to come in and disrupt the culture/workplace environment is very real, maybe not near the near future, but it still could happen. I could go on and on with a list that's obviously been repeated in this thread ad nauseum, so I won't.

I love GiantBomb and am excited, but also wondering just how different this site will look say, four years from now.

The first gift I opened on Christmas was Saints Row The Third. I had completely forgot that included in the online pass is a free digital copy of Saints Row 2 which got me even more excited to play the game.

I also gifted Deus Ex Human Revolution. :)

Yesterday after I downloaded and installed 1.03 patch I played for about 8hrs without a system restart. My game did not freeze at all during those 8hrs, dragons no longer fly backwards, magic resistance is fixed. I did notice however that textures on some environmental objects either failing to load or just appearing blurry. I also noticed about 5 hrs in the framrate beginning to chug, mostly in towns and out in the wild encountering groups of enemies/fighting a dragon. (As I understand it, the PS3 OS has a rather large memory stamp, thus I'm sure causing some of texture issues and possible framrate drops. This is something that may not be fixable due to memory constraints, who knows, maybe Bethesda can work some arcane magic on the PS3.)
