You're right about that, It's hard to go back after playing SF4 but still they've put out HD remix, and now they're porting alpha 2 and 3 ,so its only fair that 3rd strike should be on the list somewhere.
Aside from obvious stuff like HALO and gears, definitely get Mass Effect .It' not to be missed. Also check out Banjo kazooie :Nuts and bolts ,crackdown, fable 2. If you don't have Ninja gaiden sigma already, then get NG:Black from the marketplace. Also get NG2 ,or wait for NG sigma 2 for your ps3. Either way ninja gaiden is a must. If you like racing sims (a la Gran turismo), then check out Forza 2 as well. It's superb.
" @Kou_Leifoh: Hahaha, you made me laugh, that was good dude!Honestly, I wasn't whining, all I said was that I wasn't a fan of these two characters (or any of the four Super Street Fighter characters).Have fun with them if that's what you're into. "
Actually, i think Cammy and fei long are quite all right. If you put some time into them, they'll definitely give you something back. Not a big fan of Dee Jay and T. hawk though. Can anybody give me the Dee Jay movelist?? I was always kinda lost on the guy.....
" Prototype really isn't that difficult. You should be ashamed Brad.Ninja Gaiden on the other hand... FFFFFFFFFFFF "
Ninja gaiden (both 1 and 2) are quite tough, but its genuinely challenge instead of frustrating and anyone who's willing to learn how the game is played using the various blocks, rolls, counters can complete it thoroughly. In fact ,there is no part in both games that ever seems impossible. All it asks is that the player should get more comfortable in handling ryu,and the entire game is built around it. If you notice carefullly, even if your ass is getting kicked repeatedly at one spot, the AI/boss actually kinda mellows down a bit so you could progress.....
Prototype on the other hand, is quite frustrating. You never know what the terms of battle are, the AI is relentless, instead of intelligent. Alex mercer has a lot of moves but the combat isnt really built around it, so you never know what to use when. I'm glad I rented it first, it's a good game but its not for everybody.
I think brad is absolutely spot on on his differences between Infamous and prototype. Infamous can be recommended to almost anyone, whearas its better to know a few things about prototype before getting it.
There's nothing in this footage that is completely mind blowing or anything that justifies a 12 year development cycle but it still looks like a decent first person shooter. Although sort of a half life 2 rip off.......
In theory, this looks good but I'm not sure how the hell they will implement this without trial and error gameplay. Assasins creed was really innovative, but it didn't change much. It was an OK game, but one in which the character moved so organically that it never seemed like an animation was breaking into another. The gameplay and pacing were only mediocre. Also, worthy mention is the ninja gaiden series,in which you had to actually perform to make your character move so it worked so much better
