Oh, and after the show a GB fan came up and thanked me for doing it. Though TBH, I did it partially as a way to cope.

As for the PPV, I actually thought it was really good despite some of the predictable or laughable wins. Glad to see Sandow got the MitB. He's needed something since IMO he's pretty underrated. Cena, no shock, expected it, same with the Shield keeping the tag belts. I also expected the AJ thing, even if I hoped against it, at least there they made it seem an honest mistake instead of her being a conniving bitch like the WWE seem to love to portray her and most of the Divas.

I think part of why I loved it so much is the matches while predictable seemed to play out well, and that crowd... It felt like I was in the Jersey crowd from the RAW right after Wrestlemania. Not sure how well it came over the PPV but they were rowdy and willing to boo and cheer depending on skill and not what the WWE wanted them to cheer for. It was fucking brilliant to be in.

Glad the sign got into the show. I decided to do it shortly after I heard about the death. I was heartbroken to hear about Ryan and I figured something like that would have made him smile. I made the sign Friday while listening to the Bombcast and went "Dammit" when they got to the part about the Taswell sign on RAW. I must have missed that. I bet he'd have been tickled pink no matter though. I'll miss you Ryan.

The show must go on. Ryan worked too hard on all of this for anyone to even consider giving up now. Of course he won't be replaced, that's why this is such a sad day. Giant Bomb will never be quite the same. But that doesn't mean it can't continue to be a good site, even if things are slightly different, with new personalities. I still love the other guys and I think they deserve our support right now.

My hope (and very unlikely guess) for the Rare historic property is... Battletoads. Fuck yes.

....a shame, it'd be on the system I'm likely not to buy unless everyone's fairytales and pixie-dust dreams of an online store with crazy sales like Steam happens, cause I'm not buying games for 60 bucks that will someday expire. No thank you.

I'm glad they went the FMV route, I somehow can't imagine a polygon Tex that would have the same look and feel of Chris' acting. Not to mention, it would be nice to remind people that there WAS good FMV games. Maybe then people would realize that just because something has FMV in it does not mean it is bad and we might see more of it.

Of course, there's the scary possibility that Digital Pictures would suddenly come back and start making their crud again... *shudder*

@synthesis_landale: And yes, I ignored the corridor part, because well, if people really are raving about THAT section... then Sony and MS might as well just release the same consoles with a little more ram in it and claim they're the future.

@Tennmuerti: SW:1313 was barely gameplay though. Other than a few seconds of 'climbing', which looks as uninteractive as the most 'quicktime but not' sections of Uncharted. What people has been raving about is the level of detail and facial features, and thats's all about the realtime cutscenes at the start. That makes them comparable IMO.
