I will be using my console for games that are console games. Not first person shooters which i will continue to play on my pc. But games like red dead redemption and gears of war 2  (not first person but still a shooter) are made for console. 
 
I MIGHT get MW2 in order to get away from the cheat hackfest that is the pc version however....

I just now decided to join in on console gaming. Since as far back as I can remember I have been a pc gamer. I thought that games would not be up to par on the consoles. I was wrong. I just got an xbox 360 and games like red dead redemption and gears of war 2. Its so easy to get into and I dont have to worry about cheaters in multiplayer. Although now i worry ill end up spending so much upgrading my console HD and buying stuff on the marketplace. 
 
I will still game on PC, but mostly for RTS and MMO's. But so far im having a blast with my first console. I dont have enough for a TV so I hooked it up via my computer monitor and it works great. Not quite 1080p but very playable.

As an owner of a 3gs i can tell you that as long as you create the itunes library on the external drive it will work. Just moving it over will not be enough as the signatures will still point to your internal drive. 
 
Also you activate it in the store when you buy it.

Due to the pop in problem of the first game i imagine they had to do this as a workaround. It didn't really bother me as bad as the first one tho. I played ME1 on pc and most of the NPC clothes were extremely low res. This is not anywhere near as bad.

I really don't think its too early to tell though. I mean, nothing is going to compare to ME2 in terms of story and execution this year. Tons of review sites have given the game a perfect score. 
 
I just hope people dont forget about this game when making game of the year deliberations.

Anyone else feel the same way? I mean, looking down the line of games coming out i dont think anything at all can compare to Mass Effect 2 this year. Everything about the game from story,execution,gameplay,graphics,sound,voiceacting and just everything else is just incredible. No other game coming out this year is going to have the narrative structure of Mass Effect 2. 
 
Sure we will probably get another gears of war, call of duty and other sequels. But I think they will just be same old same old.

Mass effect 2 is going to be 2010's game of the year.

Everytime i listen to that i end up cryin from laughter. lol
