did they split? then there was the whole thing about the CIA trying to cover up what happened...but they never really explained what happened...like stuff was really f'd up...but WHY?
It's not like the other guys in your squad didn't have radios to communicate with the 33rd, find out what the hell was really going on. Seems kinda dumb. The game wasn't that great I was really hoping for an awesome ending...kinda cliche and significant plot hole.
(not normally a hater, but this story didn't really deserve the hype it got).
If the 33rd were "good guys" why did they try killing you from the beginning of the game, right when you get to dubai? Shouldn't they at least have tried to negotiate at some point? Didn't make any sense to me. Am I missing something?
Well if everybody thought like alex nobody would ever buy a house or a car or own a credit card for that matter. In this deal Microsoft is basically loaning you 300 dollars up front that has to be paid back over 2 years...with interest. Not to sound like a dick but its how our economy works. Stuff is always more expensive if you have to borrow money to buy it.
I've played this game dozens of times when I had my nintendo but never really noticed until just now...I count no less than 3 blatant ripoffs of IP on the cover of this game. To the left you have schwarzenegger in the predator, in the middle you have the alien from....well....alien and on the right you have a rambo wannabe. Somebody obviously didn't put too much thought into this cover. He probably looked at the movies that were out that week and slapped them on the box.
I bought this during this sale and finally got around to playing it. A good amount of repeat puzzles (you end up solving the same puzzle 2 or 3 times) and one of the most unsatisfying empty endings to a game I've ever experienced. The game is nothing special. The art design and a handful of the 30+ puzzles you solve are great but don't make up for the repetitive nature and garbage story.
