Sorry, man. My mother is also a paraeducator and I've always hated her job. She is a wonderful patient woman who has done a lot of good for the school district but it's heart wrenching to see her come home with black eyes or a broken nose because one her kids lost control. I've tried to convince her to quit her job many times but she's so close to retirement; she just wants to hit the 20 year mark. 
 
I'm really sorry to hear about your mom though. That really really sucks and I can't even imagine what you might be going through. Hang in there, sounds like you're being the perfect son right now, taking care of her and staying by her side. 

It might not even be cancer. They are not sure.

Life sucks sometimes, it's true but the bad times are what put the good things in life into greater perspective.  Appreciate that you have a mother still and the opportunity to help her through this difficult period.  As cornball as it sounds, there is good to be found in almost all situations no matter how tragic.  We just might not see it until much later in life.  That thought won't make today any easier, I know so stay strong and remain positive if you can.

Always fucking pisses me off when I hear that people were getting robbed/beaten up/harassed or in trouble and no one around them helped, I feel like if I was ever in that situation I would always help whoever that was no matter how bad the situation they're in. People need to have regard for human life and it sickens me that you can stand by watching people cry for help and not help. When we went to visit her this morning she was off to get her stomach scooped. So I left her a pillow I bought her. A stuffed tiger she loves. And some limp balm.

That is indeed sucky. I guess if it turns out to be cancer, it could turn out to be a good thing in the end, since they might not have found it if she hadn't been hurt. Still, a very unfortunare situation. I hope everything turns out well :).

They are mentally unstable, they do not know whats going on. Its not like the kid thought "Hmmm i am going to punch this lady in the stomach because i can get away with it!" It was more like he got angry for some reason and just let it out because he does not know how to control it like normal people.  Anyways I am really sorry to hear about your mother, just stay positive and try to keep her spirits up.
