Is it just me or do trolls find it fun to make other GB users lives on GB a misery, I say this because I am currently being bothered by a toll the breed of troll is one of the grammar and speculation type (you know the 1s that through a strop if you make one grammar mistake). cant we all just get along and play nicely because if we don't godwins law will happen (someone will be liken to a Nazi and/or Hitler) and we do not want that now do we children (*_*). I suggest that if any one has a problem they contact the mods

I don't think that every single grammar rule should be followed (I copped some flak for making a grammar related thread one day) but it would be nice if people wrote threads that were actually read-able and had some semblance of order to them. Spelling things incorrectly throughout ALL of your writing and not using punctuation is not 'awesome' it is fucking 'stupid'. Those rules of grammar exist so that everyone is able to understand what you are actually saying.
 
Don't write formally, but don't write like a complete retard either.

The way you communicate online does say a lot about the person you are.  
 
While you may not care about grammar or spelling, believe me, your errors are painfully obvious to a lot of people. It's hard to take the comments or opinions of someone who doesn't use "it's" or "its" seriously. 
 
Nobody is perfect. I make grammar and spelling mistake all the time. I don't know why he is wasting time harassing you over it, but the good news is that an online troll is incapable of actually making your life a misery. The bad news is that you really should work on your grammar. I'm not trying to be mean, but making an effort or looking over what you write once or twice before you post it will make a huge difference. People will have a lot more respect for what you have to say if you are saying it properly. That goes for everywhere in life, not just online video game forums.

I don't even know if they qualify as trolls or not, because they're not funny, but I hate the users among us who choose to make otherwise well-thought-out arguments vicious by adding a bunch of swears like "Fucking" into it and launching an ad homonym attack against the user rather than the argument at hand.

I don't see why anyone is bothered by these grammar trolls. Usually they are just being a bitch anyway, or having a joke, so it's not as though they mean to offend. Anyway, no harm in taking their advice but ignoring them along the way. I get trolled all the time, with half of it I don't even realise it's happening.

I have been accused of being a grammer nazi, although i only generally speak about orthographic errors, and ones that make it difficult to understand posts.  
 
 You can write however you want, still you should try to make something readable, and not confusing.

If you hate Grammar Nazis its either because you A)Went to school in a farmhouse and envy city education or B)You can't see the pettiness/insanity of people pointing out punctuation/spelling mistakes on the intarwebz.

You should generally try to speak perfect english on a forum and others should be allowed to hate on people for making big errors like not using paragraphs.

I try to be very understanding of non-native English speakers.  I speak a little bit of a few other languages myself, and I know it is REALLY hard to be perfect.
 
On the other hand, try to take criticism as an opportunity to become better.  As has been mentioned, when someone posts something that  looks like it was written by a 5 year old, we read the opinion contained within as if it is the opinion of a 5 year old.  So, if you want to be taken seriously, write seriously.
