What do you think is the greatest guitar riff ever, I think it's either Sweet Child of Mine or the solo from Live Forever. What do you think is the greatest guitar riff ever?
I just saw District 9 on Friday, I had heard of it before I saw it but I hadn't seen any trailers and didn't really know what to expect and I was blown away it was amzing. Easily the best film I have seen in cinemas this year but then again ''Shafted 3: Shafted in Africa'' and it's sequel ''Shafted: We Got the Results Back, They Aren't Good.'' aren't really the fiercest of competition, compelling films though they may be, the abundance of nudity doesn't quite make up for the lacklustre story. I couldn't really think of anything wrong with District 9, it was gorey, it had a compelling story and the icing on the cake was it was funny as well. So I just want to know your opinins on the film.
The level creation stufff is amazing and second to none on any current-gen system, though the platforming mechanics are a bit weird wuite floaty controllers and stuff like that, which kind of detracts from the experience since making a level is awesome and then playing it can come as a slight let down. If you want to get the mosrt out of it though you have to commit yourself to it.
As long as I'm being hosed down by a gentleman in a top-hat and a dressing gown I don't care what im being hosed down with let alone what temperature it is and rarely is it water....
Over on the Halo 3:ODST page on the site, http://www.giantbomb.com/halo-3-odst/61-24035/ you'll see that this page looks way different from all the other pages on the site, ithe ad on the top of the page makes it pretty clear that this is some sort of promotional thing, but I was thinking wouldn't it be awesome if they made every page like this but make it customiable for the user. For example you could choose an uploaded image of a game (a big one obviously) and map it to the background of that game page and also have like a colour palet that you select from to colour the text and the text box fringes like on the Halo 3: ODST page. I know that it's asking a lot and there would be lots of obstacles to work through, but I think it would be so awesome! Besides if anyone can do it GiantBomb can! Yeah go team! Woo!
That page does look really good, the layout seems to be improved as well, it would be awesome if they made every page like this where you could edit the colour, like they'd have a palet that you could select the text colour from and the page fringe colour to suit each individual game, franchise, console etc. it would be insane but awesome!
