Just as long as Bethesda fixed the almost broken leveling system from Oblivion, we're good.

I have Demon's Souls on my plate, too. I am 14 hours in and took down another boss last night when I invited a friendly phantom in my game and he basically walked me through an area. Thanks friend! At the last moment, I was able to summon a second helper and thank God I did, because that second guy totally was like "SPELLS!!!!" and raped the boss.

It feels like cheating when allying for boss battles, but hey, as Vinny said "there is no cheating in Dark Souls, only ways to beat the game!" (or something to that effect)

Oh,... Skyrim. My PC pre-order is paid off. Hoping the degrees of broken day one game are low enough to enjoy it!

@NaCl: I think the real issues isn't the $0.99 games, but a lot of us are getting quality fun with digital titles in the $10.00 or less category through XBLA, PSN, and more so Steam and other PC offerings. Fully featured games with sharp graphics and hours and hours upon fun.

Now tell me there is a $15~25 surcharge "mobile" tax on it for it to be on PS Vita or 3DS? Yeah, bullcrap and chips.

The limitations of "games need to cost so much because of hardware or carts" days are over. The days of proprietary memory cards should be over! I do not think the race to the bottom with $1 games is what I want on handhelds, but a realization that I am getting massively awesome gaming in the under $20 zone. Expecting me to pay $40 for a handheld game is getting steeper with this mindset.

I'll stick to my DSi XL and PSP. A lot of games are now falling into the "what they should cost" category. Remember, Steam is proving the industry wrong with the notion "games cost more to make, therefor they should cost more." Lower prices exponentially increase sales, meaning higher returns. Having carts limits this... both systems have expandable storage and digital markets. Why should we have carts and high costs associated with them? Make the games $30 for carts and $20 or less digitally for the PSV (ALL games, including first party) and watch interest soar.

It's nice to have a collection, but sometimes you know there are titles you'll never play. Just get rid of them, in my opinion. If one nerd vice helps self perpetuate, then all for it.

Yo dawg, we heard you like pay walls, so we put pay walls behind a pay wall so you can to pay to pay!

Seriously, folks, you pay Microsoft $40~60/yr to still see ads and for services that are free on any other platform... and better (not talking about PS3, stop getting panties in a bunch. Try something like Steam, Mumble, Ventriollo, Skype, Raptr, etc. on PC and you'll know). You're paying for Peer-to-Peer. It's complete nonsense that most people will barbecue me for with a notion of "you get what you pay for" or "it's the best service ever!". I used it from Halo 2 release to Gears 2 release. I have lived without it since.

There is no good reason that many services are behind XBL Gold, such as netflix. It's free on $90 devices w/ no subscription outside of the $8/month. The 360, from my understanding of the other game consoles and set top boxes, is the only one you have to pay again to access it. This is a service?

And I'm not an angry MS anti-fan, either. I love my Zune and have had one since the original 30GB brown. I have my $15/month Zune sub. I use Windows. I actually like the 360 and would still have one if mine hadn't bit the dust. Controller is still the best one ever made. However Xbox Live is a joke.

It's one of the few games that I HAVE to force myself over the "you're doing it wrong" feeling. So many other games (like long ass JRPGs in general) that have multiple approaches or ways to play nurture my feeling of looking things up.

I am trying to stay away from that as little as possible. Make the game more of "This was my Dark Souls experience..." discussion point instead of going for the Min/Max character.

I'm running "Geralt", a white haired swordsman with high str/dex and works a bit on End/Vit. Thought about going for some spells, but I dunno. Might be too hard to branch out that many different directions. My bow = my spells :P

I gave several bosses and large minions sweet doses of murder tonight. Was fun!

Oh my! I knew he wasn't in top shape -seing him stepping down from the iThrone- but this?

Apple should have a Golden iThrone, like for the Emperor in 40k, but to keep the guiding light of Steve Jobs alive, they sacrifice 1000 hipsters a day to support him.

My PS2 collection is disappearing more and more because of PS2 remakes and re-releases. I <3 you PS2, but less cases or shinier graphics... well, love can be fickle.
