Well, I think it's safe to say that this isn't coming out THIS year. 
 
Unless... we still have 4 days left...

What a few guys have said: if you've played enough to know that it's one of your favorite games of the year, it's one of your favorite games of the year. I haven't finished P3P, but I know it's one of the best games I've played all year.

With all of these Steam sales going on, anything over $15 seems overpriced . 
 
Good deals here, though.

There's so much awesome stuff coming out, but the 3DS is at the top of my list.

Costume Quest was fun and cute for a while, but, as short as it was, the bare-bones gameplay made finishing the game a bit of a chore. 
 
Luckily, I haven't played any games this year that you could call really disappointing, but I'm sure I'll play some of the ones you guys have listed soon enough.

There's something about chiptunes that reeks of awesomeness.

I already had Gish, Braid, Machinarium and bit.trip BEAT along with HL2 (but I'm not sure if you'd consider Valve an indie developer).

Reinstall it and give it another try. If you didn't even give it a fair shake, which you obviously must not have if you only played about 30 seconds of it, there's no way for you to tell if you like it or not. It sounds more like you wanted to hate it, so you hated it.
