While this isnt even close to the point the OP is making, im going to reply anway. If you genuinely believe that Metroid Prime 3, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, Excitebots, Sin and Punishment 2 and Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn were "half-assed" then you must honestly be touched in the head. There is obviously a lot of crap on the Wii, but "real gamers" wouldn't notice those games. Only people out to vilify the Wii do.

Last time I checked, Sin and Punishment 2 hasn't been released yet. Excitebots I still haven't played but I want to, because Excitetruck might be the most fun game on the Wii, despite the shallowness of its mechanics. I have no interest in Fire Emblem, and as for Prime 3, Brawl, and Galaxy? They're not bad games, but compared to older entries in their respective serieses, as well as some of the best games on other current-gen consoles? Half-assed is a generous assessment.

Considering I've spent more hours with Left 4 Dead than any other game in the past ten years, I'm not really concerned about value for money. The only real issue I can see is that 2 means Valve won't be supporting Left 4 Dead 1 with new content as long as many have hoped.
I have no idea what people see in Assassin's Creed 2. I mean, I guess I do: it certainly looks pretty. Did everyone forget how much the first game sucked, though? This is like Killzone 2 hype all over again.
I'm not ignorant enough to say "I don't want this in my games" at this point. My real concern is that the technology is far less versatile than it appears.

...or people who like Ueda's past offerings. Although I agree about it showing no real in-game footage; that's the only reason it isn't my "game of the show." And yeah, Uncharted 2 was the best PS3 game on display.
