I liked the first crackdown but the demo for Crackdown 2 did not impress me. I really want to wait for some reviews and make sure that the whole time is not spent running around and activating beacons.
I'm not taking this article too seriously. It's written quite poorly for one thing. They have been trying to work on a male contraceptive for a long time and it hasn't worked.
When dealing with removing proteins, studies done just on rats isn't going to cut it. I would not want to be one of the guinea pigs for this drug.
Oh yes, one complaint. Sometimes during the campaign it seems like the computer AI takes much too long to take turns, like building one walker every two second until they have built a large amount. It can really slow the game down.
So far I've really enjoyed it. It's a good direction for strategy games to go for consoles, with slightly chaotic and short games. I'd want to play through more of the game as well as trying out the online multiplayer before I would recommend it but I've enjoyed it so far. I haven't really noticed it being preachy about environmental issues, but perhaps in one of the campaigns it is.
