I pretty much exclusively used Alistar, Morrigan and Wynne through out the game, not really taking the time to level up other characters. When people said companions could just get up and leave is was like, "that will never happen to me". It did. Morrigan left, making that battle with the Archdemon much harder than it probably should have been. Zeveran also jumped me towards the end of the game. So I killed him, Alistar killed Logain and I sacrificed myself at the end. I was ultimately satisfied with the ending.
Hey, I was hoping someone could help me find a side quest in the Historic district. I've completed the game and have labeled the rough location of the area where the side quest should be located.
I like how Killzone 2 encourages more team work, I feel like Modern Warfare's community is simply there to level up and get a good K/D and streak. And as fun as that is, I find it more satisfying to work together with your team, so I prefer Killzone 2.
I feel really weird because I actually liked Brutal Legend.
Anyway, I didn't really play any "bad" games this year, but I was a little let down by Left 4 Dead 2. Not the game's fault or anything, but it didn't blow me away like the first one did.
I've probably played Dragon Age the most, and that's my 3rd pick for game of the year.
Last year when GTA 4 was winning in a lot of places I felt like it was glossing over tons of games including my personal favorite, Dead Space. But this year I don't feel the same way with Uncharted 2, it has a certain level of quality that very few games this year have even gotten close to. I will admit however, that I had more fun with Shadow Complex than just about every game this year, but I enjoyed Uncharted 2 a lot more. So it's my overall pick for game of the year, and I don't feel that it's undeserved.
