I really liked the Pierce Brosnan Bond movies, although, it was probably because those were the ones out when I was about the right age to start watching them. Goldeneye was great. Tomorrow Never Dies was really good. The World is Not Enough was ok. And Die Another Day, while definitely a step down from the other movies, is still worth a watch every now and then. I just watched all these not too long ago (maybe a few months), and none of them are bad. If you like this kind of movie, you will probably like all of them. Also, I think that Pierce Brosnan made a great James Bond.

The Daniel Craig movies are very hit or miss for me. Casino Royale was definitely his best. Quantum of Solace was also good overall, but it still didn't live up to my expectations after seeing the fantastic Casino Royale. Skyfall was a huge step back. I just can't outright like that movie. I don't think it's the worst movie ever or anything, but I've actually seen it a few times just to try and understand the massive amount of praise it got when it was released. I just don't understand it. I liked Spectre more than Skyfall, though that isn't saying much, but it had so many stupid problems that I still didn't much care for it and can't flat out recommend it.

Full disclosure, I haven't seen many of older Bond movies with Connery or Moore, etc., so nothing I said should be taken as an unspoken comparison. I constantly hear that the older movies were better overall, but every time I've tried to watch them, they just don't click for me, so to speak. I have nothing against them or anyone that likes them, but from what I've seen, I have no interest in seeing them at all.

Bleach: Soul Resureccion. I know that it isn't a phenomenal game and that it's pandering to fans of the series, but I still can't help but enjoy the hell out of playing it. It's essentially a Dynasty Warriors clone, but even if you don't like DW but like Bleach, you'll probably enjoy it. There's just something about being able to use a bunch of different characters from the show that just puts a smile on my face. Every time I use Aizen and spam Hado 90 or use Byakuya for his unique sword attacks that do their best to mimic the show, I can't help but enjoy it. But at the same time, I'm fully aware that, despite it actually having quite a lot to do with a lot of characters, it's still not the best game. It's still fun though, so I can't regret playing it.

Senran Kagura.

Oh, and HuniePop. Kinda forgot the 17 hours I've put into that.

It's funny that you mention Senran Kagura, because this is the primary reason I haven't bought that game. It looks genuinely fun, but I simply can't be seen playing it. XD There's no way I'd be able to explain it to anybody who walked in while I was playing, and I would be branded as a "weirdo" from then on. Maybe if I ever live by myself. Lulz.

@boozak: It's funny you mention dark souls, because I've actually discussed that with my friends before. Not having a minimap is one of the main reasons I'm not going to even bother putting significant time into those games. It's bad enough the horrible design choices that waste your time, but not having any idea where to go and aimlessly wandering until you find a place where you die a little less than normal? No thanks. It's not like having a minimap and knowing where to go meant that you would have died less than normal against enemies in the areas where you're supposed to be. It's just time wasting nonsense.

I do, however, agree with metroidvania style games, for the most part. They're not perfect, but they tend to point you in the right direction and then allow you to find your way there. I like them a lot for that reason. They give you a bit to explore and don't hold your hand too much, and there's that great sense of direction that always keeps you moving forward and makes you feel like you're making progress along the way with upgrades and new abilities.

@mandude: So every open world game with a minimap has poor level design? If anything, the reason that an open world game has a minimap is because it isn't designed to look like a "game" and is much larger than a smaller more structured game. I don't play skyrim much, but I know enough about it to know that it's structured more like a world would be. It just seems more natural in that way. I'm not even sure I understand what you mean by "level design" when you are talking about an open world game. It's a large world. It's not supposed to have "levels".

Nope, could not care less about this. I'm probably going to get some hate for wanting "the same old, same old", but I was really hoping for a more traditional console like the PS4 or Xbox One. This gimmicky shit that Nintendo keeps doing doesn't resonate with me at all. Being able to play games on the tablet on the WiiU didn't make me care about that console, and the same goes for this one. I'm still kind of interested to see the specs though. If it's on par with the PS4 Pro or Scorpio, then releasing it right in between both of them in March is actually a good idea.

Replacing good level design with a mini-map/compass that does all the navigation for you.

This is why Skyrim, while being fun, didn't leave me with as many memories as Morrowind did.

Push 'W' while trying to keep the marker in the centre of the screen. When you seem close to it, stab or kill the marker.

I could not disagree with this more. Being able to go off on a tangent and "explore" and being able to quickly get back on track with a minimap is one of the best things about any open world game. The lack of a feature like this is one thing that will always dissuade me from playing a game. All you would be doing is aimlessly wandering around until you happen to stumble upon where you're supposed to be. Not knowing where to go, and not having an idea of where to go, aside from something like "go north when you're on the most southern point of the map, is blatant time wasting and simply padding out the length of what would already be a decent length game. Minimaps are a godsend and drastically reduce needless downtime that could be spent actually doing something meaningful.

This is one of the primary reasons that I don't play a lot of racing games, especially more recent ones. The developers are either too lazy to put real work into the AI on the different difficulties or they may think that rubberbanding is better, though I'm betting it's the former. The only racing game I've played seriously within 5-10 years is actually an older game for the Xbox 360 called Burnout: Revenge. The rubberbanding in that game is actually advantageous in some ways. Since one of the primary points of the game is to cause other cars to crash, it keeps them somewhat close to you, otherwise, they would be too far away for you to do anything. This is more of an arcade racer though, with a unique mechanic when compared to the other more "realistic" racing games out there. Still, it may be the only racing game I've ever played where the rubberbanding doesn't piss me off.

The Wii Next

The Wii Pro/The Wii U Pro

The Wii UHD (I think someone already said this one)

The Nintendo Pro/The Nintendo Pro UHD

The Nintendo NX

Honestly, none of these would bother me. I actually rather like the sound of The Nintendo Pro.

I can't decide between Regeneration, Electricity, Super Speed, Flying, and Telekinesis.

Telekinesis essentially gives you the other four, so I would go with that.
