Agreed. I'd sooner watch regular people discuss the show they just watched, which can be equally stupid ("why was there no Lannister family present?"). There's something I'm missing as to the appeal of watching regular people mugging for the camera. I understand some people find it amusing, I just don't understand why. I found watching them to be uncomforting, even slightly embarrassing. It's something akin to those paranormal Activity commercials with people flying out of their seats in fright.

Anyone play Finding Teddy? It's a point and click adventure using pixel art similar to Sword & Swocery. I saw it on flipboard the other night and was instantly intrigued. However, upon further research I discovered the game is about an hour long. The negative there is that the game is 3 dollars.

I like Leo and really do miss those screen savers days on TechTV. It was very interesting to see Jeff on Leo's show, which I had no idea existed. I must say I really enjoyed it, awkward moments and all. I did notice Jeff got cut off a couple times, which is unfortunate as I do like hearing people talk about things one might assume is outside their familiarity.

I almost purchased this, and I'm glad I didn't. Before clicking to buy it I hesitated and wanted to confirm my PC controller would work. I discovered I need a 360 type PC controller for it to work, which makes sense considering it's a 360 game.

A shame. I've been wanting to play this since Brad did the QL, but there's always something holding me back.

The NES. The jump from a 2600 to the NES was so substantial. I was also at that age where there was weekly sleepovers with friends, renting games, messing around with a game genie to see who could make the best random codes.

Nostalgia game is Zelda II: The Adventures of Link.

I hear you. Most of my friends still listen to the early-late nineties stuff. I've tried playing my old cds in my car, but once I get passed the nostalgia of it the novelty fades. I was rap only from the end of the eighties to 2001, but these days I find myself listening to classic rock and news radio. It's strange, and just one of those things that reminds me how fast the time flew by and how bloody old I am.

Much respect for your list. Awesome to know someone else knows who the hell Last Emp. is. And Ras Kass is a personal favorite of mine. Easily the best thing to come out of the West imo.

It's the only game I find myself playing these days on Android. Only requires like 10 min. of my day to collect the cash, assign the characters their 24 hr task, and occasionally build new structures. I suppose it's the minimal daily time investment and how it's become a part of daily routine that keeps me drawn to it.

It's unfortunate I didn't discover this thread when the snake event was still on. It ended with me possessing a massive stockpile of eggs that are now gone.
