Randomly thought of Ryan today and thought I'd drop by and say I still miss the big guy. Hearing a dude's voice almost every day for a few years really makes you feel attached to them regardless of whether you've personally met them or not. There's a kind of hole left in the daily routine without him. I can hardly find the words to thank someone for being who they were while they were alive, I had a friend die earlier this year and the most I could eek out was a couple of sentences, so I'll just say whatever I think whenever a passed friend or loved one comes to mind. Rest in peace, and thanks for everything.
It's a fun game to play. It is not a fun game to watch. It reminds me of when they used to play Mortal Kombat at every fucking opportunity, or had a million SF4 TNT's. I get that it's fun for you, I enjoy playing those games with friends too. But holy shit, nothing gets me to tune out faster.
I'm highly enthused over the idea of a ton of these things flying around everywhere delivering packages. This sounds like the coolest possible thing until we can teleport shit directly from a warehouse somewhere into our own homes.
@alexw00d: The fuck you is not telling players for two hours in the middle of the night that they've been up for no reason. Then telling them you'll make it up to them, and then telling them it's all okay because you can get into the next inconveniently timed test in two weeks, and after all that finding out the reason it didn't work in the first place is because they didn't do something that people had been telling them needed to be done a week in advance.
I wouldn't have even been all that mad had they flat out said as soon as they realized that they forgot to update the NTSC version of the test that the test would be cancelled. But no, they waited a whole two hours after the original start time to tell people.
Supposedly it's because the NA version of the game was never updated to the correct version. Even after plenty of people pointed out that the NA version hadn't been updated properly. Namco Bandai really keeps their ears to the ground, fingers close to the pulse of the community.
