I have this on the 360 and my biggest complaint so far is that all the graphics look faded. Seems like the brightness/gamma is set too high and there is no options that I could find in the menu to turn them down. I have the original Ultimate MK3 on xbox live and MK2 on ps3 and they both look normal. Also, it is nice that they included the move list for all the characters (including fatalites etc) but why can you only view them during the fight and not in between rounds (they option is greyed out)? You have to wait for the announcer to finish saying "Fight", and then as soon as the round is over it's greyed out again. Mostly a minor complaint but it is a bit frustrating. Sadly while I feel the game is playable (at least single player, I have no intention of playing online) I would rather play these games in MAME. I Hope an update can address the problems everyone is having, but I'm not really counting on it.
I remember Ryan doing and interview with Peter Moore a while back, admitting to be quite nervous, yet still pulling off a great interview, and I don't even like sports games.
Jason, Ash from Army of Darkness, And two completely new characters. I really don't care for any of the other characters released after UMK3, except for maybe Frost, but we already have 2 Sub-zeros in the game so she's really not needed.
I'm personally glad they are doing this instead of releasing overly priced DLC. Sure I would rather they'd wait a bit longer and make MVC4 (or rather just a Marvel Universe fighting game). But hey you can always trade your original MVC3 in towards the new one; the game is currently worth $17.00 according to bestbuy.com's websight.
Considering DLC characters go for $5 a piece, charging $40 for 12 extra is a bargain. Not to mention Jill and Shuma that would be 14 characters for some. Also I'd much rather have this on disc than worry about taking to a friends house who doesn't use xbox live.
