Africa without a doubt is the most unenjoyable section of this game. Never would have thought I could beat an SSX event by not boosting for tricking and slowly moving forward. Absolutely horrible idea!

The PS3 game has an extra mountain I believe. Other than that I don't think there is much difference.

So whats everyone shredding up the slopes to?

@Dagbiker: I wouldn't say its most unique. I'd give unique crown to Catherine. A Puzzle dating game that actually was quite good.

@HistoryInRust: I agree with this. Although I understand the argument that was originally posted. It's supposed to be about overcoming its flaws to become something that shouldn't be missed. The way everyone I've seen eyes light up when talking about Skyrim makes it seem like an obvious GoTY contender.

Only problem I have is how Bethesda continually gets away with shipping games with such bugs. It's not like Skyrim was the first time they shipped a game with bugs such as this. Pretty much everytime they release a game is has numerous bugs that have to be address before the game can fully be enjoyed by everyone. It's kinda BS that they get a pass because "Oh it's Bethesda"

I just hope that games like Catherine and Bastion don't get overlooked by everyone. As they should take awards in some category.

I mirror the TC sentiment. I agree that Skyrim is just a amazing game but at the same time I don't think its fair that Bethesda gets a pass when they ship games time and again with such bugs in when other contenders are fully realized experiences start to finish. A game like Uncharted does what it sets out to do without moments that take you outta the experience.

As weird as it sounds the best game I played this year is Bastion. It's a downloadable title but I was really wowed at the way that game presented itself. Really swept the rug out from under me from start to finish.

The thing I find most interesting about Skyrim. We have won. We nerds have gotten people to basically play Dungeons and Dragons (and love it) which is like the nerdiest thing you could do. This console cycle is amazing we took gaming from being considered as thing only nerds to Everyone picking up a controller and letting go.

Yes but PC gamers have had to deal with them because PC companies are so tired of dealing with Pirates.

It's at "Wicked Nasty" for my strange Sticky Launcher which I find amazing as I've only had it for two weeks. I'm currently looking for a strange Grenade Launcher to complete my Demo's set. Its funny, hats I've kinda had my fill of but just them adding a counter to one of my favorite weapons drew me back into the collection madness.
