multiplayer is big fun. it's call of duty 4 with the hiding system from rainbow 6.
hopefully there will be more people playing in a few daysm when the movie starts. right now i'm place 50 on the ranking list... this can't be, i'm not that good and it's not like i played the whole night through since i got it.

I didn't expect a title to be released in the UK first, didn't know that. Usually its same date or a tad later in UK, just not used to that. Anyway I've played the demo, and I generally did like it a good amount, I'm not saying I want somethign to feel like a bond game, cuz even goldeneye was just a FPS, just adding cover mechanics and aiming down a sight feels even more a bit disconnected from a bond game to me. Regardless I definitely do agree it felt pretty good, and I'm gonna give it a gamefly to check it out for sure. Only thing I find kinda disappointing is the typicalness of using QTE's for the close combat kills, kinda wish it was done differently.

I think the main thing that will hold this back from most people as an actual really 'good' game is that its just trying to be Cod4 in the bond universe. Which is pretty apparently immediately, the reviewers are seeing that right off the bat too.

Has anyone played the Wii version?  That one's got my interest a little.

Single player is 6 hours on average.

It's by no means a bad game by any stretch of the imagination. Words that spring to mind are: good, decent, solid, ok, fun.

I have actually had a lot of fun playing Quantum of Solace (online and off).  The multiplayer is pretty good, aside from a few very minor problems.  My only problem with it is that theres too much Casino Royale in it.

I'm kind of flabbergasted at the amount of time I've been putting into this game's multiplayer component. The weapon customization feature is sort of addictive. That said, I've not played a lot of Call of Duty 4's multiplayer (I've played through that game's campaign, so I can spot the obvious influence), so I can't recommend this to anyone.

There's a certain hilarity factor involved, as well. The voice actors' delivery of the dialogue is terrible in an amazing way. The Organization team, particularly, is worth playing for just to hear the actor yell "FLASH!"

Also, the shotguns are way too powerful. That's okay, I suppose, since there is no real penalty for losing, but the uber-shotgun, the one that can fire at full-auto, is ostensibly a Golden Gun in its own right.
