Sometimes one playable character just isn't enough.

Murder is the act of ending the life of another living thing against its will without the sanction of a higher governmental authority, such as the casualties that result from acts of war. It is generally intentional, at least in a legal meaning, but not necessarily.
Sequels that have the player controlling a different character than the preceding game(s).
This is when the events of a story are not in chronological order. Often, the end comes at the beginning, and the remaining story explains how things came to be the way they are.
Characters controlled by the game for players to interact with, as opposed to player characters which are controlled by whomever is playing the game.

A sequel (also called a follow-up) is a game that carries forward the gameplay concepts, and often the story, of a previous game to which it is officially linked.
A speedrun describes the action of a player attempting to complete a game in the fastest time possible. The rules of speedruns can vary, but generally allow glitching and sequence breaking as long as the player does not cheat with external devices/tools or tampering with the game.
A game that takes gameplay mechanics, characters, or story elements from an existing series in a separate and different direction, sometimes changing genres along the way.
Possibly the most simplistic way of drawing a living entity. It's normally used as a budget saver or out of laziness, or as a throwback to simplistic times.

Popularized by franchises such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill, these games typically involve a strong implication of danger, vulnerable protagonists, and disturbing monsters.
The Tyrant Virus, more commonly known as the T-Virus, is a virus developed by Umbrella to help create B.O.Ws (Bio-Organic Weapons) and ultimately to create a Tyrant.
Tank controls refers to a movement style in third person games where the character, not the camera, is used as the point of reference when choosing which control moves them in a given direction.
Instead of telling you it's over and come to a conclusion, some games leave you with a "To be continued" screen.
A recurring type of B.O.W. (Bio-Organic Weapon) that is fought throughout the Resident Evil franchise.
The Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service is Umbrella's personal military force to combat biohazard incidents.
