When I picked up Resistance 2, I was expecting to be able to play through single player campaign on co-op like I did in the first Resistance. To my surprise there was only a watered down co-op with little to no story. That seems like a poor replacement for single player co-op to me, Resistance 2 feels like a down grade in quality from the first one.
 Was anyone else hugely disappointing by the lack of single player co-op?

i believe thats why they call it "single player" not co-op player.

Its not even close to being a deal breaker.

Wait. So you'd rather play an alright single player campaign with your friends than play an awesome Co-op campaign with your friends?

I think it would have been nice if Insomniac threw in the single player as 2-player co-op ASWELL but with so much on the disc it's hard to be disappointed isn't it?

 Well, the main reason I got it was to play though with a friend. We had a lot of fun on the first one, I don't really like the multiplayer (but I can see why people would) and it seems weird to cut a feature from the first game in the second one.

It doesn't really seem like co-op to me though, it just feels like arcade mode.
