Scyther is a dual-type Bug/Flying-type Pokémon inhabiting the Kanto Region within the Pokémon Red & Blue and Yellow Versions.

Scyther can be found residing the Kanto Region by Pokémon Trainers and caught exclusively in Pokémon Red Version and in its remake Pokémon FireRed Version via capture in the Safari Zone.

    Special Appearances

    No Caption Provided

Scyther is made available as a prize from the Celedon City Game Cornor, or it could be caught in the Safari Zone.

Thereafter, Scyther has been prominently featured in nearly almost every Pokemon game to be released via capture in the Safari Zones and Friend Zones. On many instances, Scyther has only been enabled to be caught exclusively for specific version games in the region, Pokemon FireRed Version and Pokemon Diamond Version.

    Physiology

    No Caption Provided

Scyther's appearance is rooted in the design of a praying mantis. With a prominent outer green coating layer, Scyther can easily camouflage into a natural lush environment and attack its unsuspecting prey.

Scyther's verdant colouring and ginormous praying mantis structure with two large protruding blade-like forearms., makes this Pokemon a feared predator.

Scyther has a pair of cream colored wings, with green appendages protecting it from damage while in flight.

Scyther has an almost reptilian like head instead of that of its known category, an insects or a bug.
