There are two possibilities.

1. they plan on multiple seasons and kanji, rise and naoto won't appear in the first but later planed seasons.

2. chie, yukiko and yosuke are more prominent then the others and are also there from the start, so they are only showing them at this point.

either way the'll be in it.

I wonder how many episodes it will be.

If they some how cram all this into 26 episodes and have no 2nd season ill be surprised. And if they only have 13 episodes then they will just make people wait from season to season just to see them squirm lol.

There is absolutely no artwork of those characters anywhere on the website. I imagine it's quite difficult to get all the voice actors again (unless all the voice actors work for the same agency) and those actors haven't signed on yet, but I'm only guessing. I realize it could be that they are introduced much later but I'm a bit worried that not everyone has signed on.

They are also not showing artwork or VA of Dojima, Nanako, Morooka, Mitsuo,Izanami and Adachi are they? Do you think this anime will feature the A-team exclusively or something?:P And even if the VA doesn't sign up, they'll just get others. They're not going to surgically remove main characters from a story, don't be silly.

Unless this turns out to be a huge flop and gets discontinued(unlikely, their servers crashed so interest is clearly high) , Naoto, Rise and Kanji will definitely be in it.

I see what you did with that pun. :) If you don't mind indulging the Japanese major in me a bit, though, the kanji for his surname, Narukami, would have to be different in order to retain that meaning with the same readings. It would most likely be 成神, which is a legitimate surname in Japanese. As it is, 鳴上悠 more literally translates into "[A] Calm Calling from Above." The meaning sounds cooler in Japanese, but it does still retain a sort of heavenly aspect to it.

I won't rule out completely that they're going for that sort of pun, since names like Yu do tend to get used that way, but on a superficial level at least, the name is going for something a bit different.

I'm guesssing the opening and/or ending songs of the anime. More character announcement(they're redesigns after all!), an air date, music samples, footage that is not 90% CGI etc etc.

Yeah, lets just say Bosch really doesn't have the range to play 2 characters that would have to interact. Adachi is already as low key as he can do.

I really think they are planning 13 episodes ending with Yukiko's rescue. Keep in mind how long the beginning of the game is. 13 episodes in only about 4 hours, 20 minutes of animation. An entire episode will be just the first limo ride.

The way that anime licensing in the U.S. works, there's no guarantee that the English voice cast would be the same as in the game. Unless there was some sort of contractual stipulation in the creation and licensing of the anime series that would require the original cast to serve as the first choice, whoever the licensing company turns out to be would be able to freely recast all of the roles.

Which of course will inevitably make it sound completely weird.

Crap, got here 2 days late. I felt all smug, thinking I was ahead of the game. Ah, well.

Don't feel like flipping through the entire thread, so I'll go ahead and say it. If you click on the tuner knob, it takes you to p4a.jp, a website for "Persona 4: The Animation". I don't know if that's what it is, if this is what the countdown is for, but that would be sweet, especially if Sou- er, Charlie, continues to refrain from speaking.

Also, why is this not front-page GB news? God damn traitors... Hope they at least mention it and their thoughts on the Bombcast.
