There probably won't be a new ER for a while, they said as much in the PAX bombcast.

They are going to get the true ending, not an if they can do it. It is just a matter how 'dumb' will they act to pretend they got the true ending.

It will NEVER! end. They will finish and then miss doing it, so they start New Game+, then finally after doing Yukkio's castle again they'll get tried of the game and stop the ER.

I assume they'll go for the true ending. And, as has been mentioned, they said they'd take a (well deserved) break before starting a new ER on the PAX Bombcast.

They said that there would be a break before they would do the next endurance run..Therefore, whatever game it is, there will most likely be another endurance run. Besides, what else are they going to replace the ER with? That's like 90 hours worth of content they have to make up if they decide to drop the ERs. "

What could they possibly do an endurance run on next? there arent too many games that are as long as persona 4 that have come out recently.

It might end on episode 150. I see Episode 150 as the Christmas Event, then going on to the end cinematic and rolling the credits to music.

I think that they'll end up going for the true ending.  On the other hand, the fight against the normal ending final boss really is just around the corner, but I don't know if they'll be able to take it out on the first try.  It has a really nasty attack that is pretty much a guaranteed instant kill if you aren't guarding.

To be honest I was never too sure what Endurance Run was about until recently.

I think they're tired of the game, and they already read that the normal ending is better, so they'll go for the ending that ends it quicker. It would suck if they succumbed to the whims of the response whiners, that would just validated them.@FluxWaveZ said:

I disagree.  They should do whatever game they want to do next, the fans should not have any say in it.  That's how it happened with Perosna 4 and MxO and that's how it should continue. "

I think they should play persona 3 portable.

The reason i'm suggesting an open poll is because the P4 endurance run was something unexpected, but now everyone knows there's going to be another one, and no matter what game they choose they're going to piss off a certain number of people anyway for not choosing a game of their liking.

Naah, Endurance run just screams for a lengthy RPG, both Ico and Shadow are very small games.

They're going to take a break for a while, maybe a month or so, then they'll play something that they are interested in and that they think would make a good ER.  People will watch and the game will sell well for a while creating all new fans to the franchise.  
 
I still want the mini-ER of Incredible Crisis to happen.

It was said in the PAX bombcast that they'd take a break for a while before doing another ED. When they do start a new one it would be cool if it was like Brad and Ryan, of course I'd still love it if it stayed as Jeff and Vinny, but it would be an interesting change. :D

Whatever they play, I will watch. And that's all that matters.

The problem is that there are very few games that haev P4's blend of non-combat and combat.  Most JRPGs follow the Town--->Dungeon--->Cutscene--->Boss Battle--->New Town format.  That can make for boring video.  Action games don't leave much time for any real discussion.  SRPGs are way too grindy.  Baldur's Gate and the first two Fallouts wuld work except the game has to come from a publisher who won't issue a C&D letter after one week and Interplay is a rights holder and not much else right now.

don't look for a new ED until next year.

I still nominate Grim Fandango.

They deserve the break, and it gives them time to find a new game worthy of the ER stamp. I can't wait to see what the next one is, whenever they decide to start again.

Actually, would it be wrong of me to suggest Sonic Adventure? It'd be funny to see the person playing just lose their shit when something doesnt work right. Plus with Sonic Adventure, anything can and will go wrong.
 
Also, bad acting and storytelling! Its a fantastic formula!

Edit: I changed my mind. Shenmue should be top candidate.

This won't be the last week of the Endurance Run.

I'll wait until it actually ends to start wondering how I feel about it.
 
They said that there won't be another Endurance Run for a while, and THAT makes me sad.  :(
