It seems that "zaftig" comes from our German "saftig", which means juicy for what it's worth.
Although I think folks here would use that more to describe a steak than a woman.

"Saftig" means the exact same thing here in Norway. But I'm sure it's us being influenced by you guys. "Zaftig" in English is a word I'd never heard before either.

For as much as Dan thinks san francisco is so "wacky" the dynamics at play in this podcast are like 10x wackier (in a good way)

In fact, I was not sure until I looked it up myself. At first I thought that they were talking about a variation on "zünftig" which is more common in southern Germany.

Just arrived at mom talk and really enjoy this, glad we get it again this year and I will also say that Dan's girlfriend is doing a wonderful job of keeping him in line if the first 15 minutes are any indication.

@danryckert I find it hilarious when you are talking about how Drew is so zen and always think about what he say. Because you were the only one to ever made him lose it, in the middle of Mario Part Party 3 where you caused him to scream 'Shut up, just shut up!' at you. :P

Kinda surprised that Seinfeld and Curb aren't considered to be fancy guy sitcoms.

Completely agree with Dan on the absurdity of game journalists whining and complaining about going and working at E3. Ironically almost all of his coworkers lament it every year.

@dougfunk15: I mean, they lament the grind of it but always say they enjoy it overall. Brad has also said that he much enjoy how they're doing it now as opposed to running on the floor all day. Dan has been on record before saying that that part of it can be not very fun, but that E3 overall is one of his favourite things. I think they're always clear on the fact that they enjoy it, but that the workload can be daunting.

Haven't finished this yet, but this has been really awesome. One of my favorite podcast episodes this year.
