Man, that club is the best. Just put virtual fire in the windows and it would be perfect.

glad to hear the single player is good.  I'm not at all excited about the kindergarten setting or apartment building setting though.  maybe I'll pick it up when it's $20 like the original.

Can't wait for this. I'll have it by Friday, but won't be playing it until I finish the last achievement on the original Dead Space (completing it on Impossible difficulty. On chapter 2 now...). I wouldn't usually care but I've already started it and I get the feeling going back to the first Dead Space might be difficult after playing a lot of 2.

Just looks like it's more of the same to me. I didn't like the first one because it was never scary. After 20-30 minutes with the game I could tell from a mile away when monsters would try to attack me, and the game just felt like a slow plodding shooter real fast. 
 
I will wait for it to go on sale next Christmas on Steam for $5-$10 and pick it up then.

Looks like the improved it a lot. Planning on seeing the new movie as well - it's said to be better than the first. 
 
This is incredibly anal of me, but the fact that the suit thrusters are constantly working is wrong in terms of the physics of no-gravity spaces. The thrusters accelerate, yet he's going at a constant velocity. Instead, they should be constantly turning on and off to adjust his velocity. Just sayin'.

It would have been great if he got jumped on by a necromorph at the very end of that disco scene.

I don't know if I like the idea of having all your gear carry over into the higher difficulties. That was part of the challenge of playing on Impossible in Dead Space 1. If you get to have your fully upgraded guns and suits, that would just be way too easy. Regardless, I'll probably pick this up when it's like $20-$30, same thing I did with the first one.

k, I was on the fence about this, but after watching that review I bought on steam. I never played all the way through the first game, but I don't give a fuck. I have my 40" tv 3.5 ft away from me in my dark room with 1000W 5.1, and my awesome pc. I shall play this game.

Aw man, i havnt seen the red opening in ages.

 ok this video is broken it played for 3 mins then it cut out and started again twice then it stopped with error and then keeps loading

I still think Isaac shouldn't have a face.  That said, credit to Visceral for not making him an overly-handsome "everyman," but rather a kinda ugly engineer.

The review was amazing, but the ending was aMAZing.

Until about two weeks ago, I couldn't really care less that Dead Space 2 was coming. I loved the first one, but I just didn't see any real reason to be excited about it. Then, out of nowhere, I found myself really excited about it. This video review kind of confirms that I need to play this game.
