Reviews: Dragon Age: Origins Video Review

Pre-loading my copy of the deluxe edition on steam right now.

Unlocks in a couple hours, I'm so excited =D

I played BG and BG2, plus IWD and IWD2 multiple times. :-) Time to give this the run through.

50 hours long!? now that's a RPG. I am gonna have to pick this game up sometime this month once I am done with Borderlands.

I'm torn between this and borderlands. I love the action and coop fun of one and the hardcore methodical story driven solo adventure of the other. I'm in some weird form of hell where i have to decide which child i love more. It's tearing me apart ;).

Wasn't considering purchasing this game, but your review as really tempted me.

Awesome video review Dave.  I completely agree with you on the DnD ruleset in the videogame setting.  Just got home with my copy I need to find some time to play it lol.

the hand gestures lost their punch after the first 20 seconds or so and you used the word decidedly decidedly too many times hehehe

Great review, I just got Dragon Age but I was unsure whether it'd be my kind of game. After watching this I reckon I'll definitely give it a proper go.

Excuse me, but if Dragon Age: Origins is an 'action-role-playing' game, prey tell me what a game would have to be, to be a plain ol' 'RPG'!!!!! This RPG genre is definitely under attack from the media!

Well done review. I was going to skip on this game altogether. However after watching this, I think I will just wait until it's a bit cheaper to pick up.
