Cool got the first and just woke up 3 minutes ago. Did it on the iPhone too. Now for some Brono Trigger ER!!!

Someone do a mashup of that music that plays when Byla joins them with Tom Jones' 'It's Not Unusual'. Please.

I am loving this... but the fact that they never buy extra potions/equipment (not to mention their lack of saving) is really stressing me out. Watching other people play video games, really brings out the old OCD.

Sometimes I really wonder if Ryan even has the ability to learn anything, Patrick still needs to shout "Heal!" every single time.

The lightning followed by the ice did some serious damage. I hope they notice that sometime in the future. You don't always need to do combo attacks to get the best attack.

Ryan wouldn't have gotten a single chest in the forest if it wasn't for Patrick. Also Ryan searches an area for 5 seconds, can't find the way forward, and says "What am I missing?" Definitely don't doubt him when he says he looses his sense of direction in games. I swear I will never take Brads abilities for granted ever a again.

Nonetheless I will endure this amazing bliss.

Watching the last few episode of this got me interested in playing the game on my own, but the thought of going through that drab future part again quickly remedied that.

Do you have to substitute characters quite a lot throughout the game or can you just stick to three characters?

That was a pretty good episode. Ryan still hasn't figured out that dual techs take up the turns of two characters, and mp from both as well, and neither has figured out that different monsters have different resistances and counters/timing stuff. Still in it!

That must been a hell of a party.

Is it bad if I have the enterprise engines on in the background for this entire video?

You can generally stick to the same characters through the whole game. The game only forces you to use a particular character for a few certain story-related scenes.

I think I'm gonna skip the rest of this Endurance Run as well. I've already played Chrono Trigger, and the commentary isn't as entertaining without Vinny. I stuck with it for a bit, but I think i'm done now.

The DS version makes it a little more apparent. That bowl Brono was drinkin' had somethin' a bit stronger than "soup."

Kind of in the same way that the those "cafe" patrons weren't drinking coffee, if you know what I mean. Nintendo censorship was still in full swing when this came out.

Ugh...just watching them Ice Sword the Megasaurs like 3 times each when they could just toss a 2 MP Lightning spell on it...cringe worthy.

In the DS version the "soup" is called skull-smash. Why? because it makes your skull feel smashed.. yep it's says so right there in the game.

It's kind of in between. You should be switching out, but not "quite a lot," really. Also, the characters all level up parallel to each other, so it's not bad.

They level up yes it's true, but they don't get any tech point so the skill of the teamate will be sub-par if you never use them and pick them out much later on.

I thought the Prehistoric Party scene would be rife with hilarious commentary, but instead we have them going "Ah...oh...um", Ryan walking in circles, long stretches of silence, and then all they can say is "LOL SOUP!"

Jeez, this Endurance Run sucks.

Glad they figured out the magic last episode. Now I wonder when they'll discover they can use dual heal techs in the menus.
