I haven't seen VJ-36 yet, but IMO George is Harry's pawn, somehow.

i think the fat dude in the gas mask had some of the same animations as Kaysen. also, Spy Fiction looks almost exactly like this game. not just art style but even the textures and environments

There were some quests involving Emily, probably woulda fleshed out their attraction to one another.

So with the revelation on spy fiction in this, it looks like 6 degrees to Brad Shoemaker might be a new feature on giantbomb :) 
 
 Wouldn't be surprised if at the end of the game it was similar to the silent hill2 ending but cutting to a live video of Swery with a dog sitting at a control room.

I really like the writing here. Quite emotional and totally in character, like when York warns Thomas. "Hey, man, you might not care what I'm saying, 'cause I'm the one hogtied in here, but DON'T TOUCH MY GIRL, NEVER"

Really, I feel more emotional and nerve-wrecked when watching this Endurance Run than when I was playing Heavy Rain and actually deciding the fates of its characters.

BEST. EPISODE. YET.

I love the Spy Fiction stuff in this episode.  Nice catch indeed!
 
Even if I'd have noticed the car's license plate myself, I'd have never connected 'Spy Fiction' as a reference to an older game.   It's pretty fascinating, in a way!

Face hook is awesome even the second time.

lol,  it's funny listening to the reaction when thomas face plants into the hook.

Hook is still good. Also, Brad has come a long way in regards to his camera presence from that GS Spy Fiction review.

Willie jumping in to the fight, grabbing Thomas' hand, then the knife in chest and hook in face, boy. That was fist-bumpingly badass.

Like the bomb squad, this game is totally growing on me. It's totally worth the lackluster shooting to get crap like this.

Of course it is.  Tank controls at that camera angle just isn't intuitive at all, the auto-aim sets you 20 miles above the boss (though it's probably on purpose since Emily doesn't have a fatigue meter), and the super high contrast window behind him makes it near impossible to aim properly.  It's not a very difficult fight but Brad probably took my complaints and verbalized them.  I don't think anyone should be complaining about anyone else complaining about DP unless they actually played the game. "

Great episode! Brad had no difficulty defeating Thomas. He actually did better than Vinny. Also, the fact that Brad played a Swery game before and reviewed it is pretty awesome. Too bad he didn't like it very much and doesn't even remember anything about it at all.

Oh man. Brad reviewing Spyfiction was HILARIOUS. Weirdest part was, when I looked up the review, the game started to feel oddly familiar to me too.
