Endurance Run: Persona 4 - Part 149

Heh. Jeff and Vinny got lucky. If they had been playing on expert, that Navas Nebula / Quake combo would have killed them. The boss casts Bewildering Fog on it's second turn which can surprisingly throw you for a loop. It happened to me twice. Even though I did kill him the first time I fought him, I didn't get the True Ending and my last save was before that dungeon. So I loaded up that save, went through the dungeon again, and died twice on him just because he psyched me out.

episode 150 : true ending....

" This game has a backwards difficulty curve for it's bosses.   Seriously, shadow Yukiko and Kanji are the hardest, and it just gets easier from there. "

I can't tell if they really think this is the for reals ending or if they are faking it.

I'm getting a weird Pete Campbell vibe out of Adachi.

Congrats fellows, now go for the true ending and fight the actual final boss, because the endurance run can't end just yet, I mean I don't know what I'm going to do without it.

The guys might figure out that something is up.  They got suspicious when they ranked up...they'll get suspicious again when they rank up again, and realize that they're leveling up when it's supposed to be the end of the game.

I was one of those who sent Vinny and Jeff PMs on the true ending weeks ago.  I hope they got it and listened.  Recently, Vinny replied to a message about P4 that I'd sent months ago, so if it took that long, who knows?.  Anyway, here's hoping they do the true ending.  Some unanswered questions will be brought to light.  Unfortunately, one on those will not be what was in the drinks at the King's Game.  :/

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you on this one. I'm very much against Ameno-Sagiri's role in the game for many reasons. One of them is the fact that you've been chasing the true killer for the entire game, and then he's randomly shoved aside before his story arc is complete. Wish I could get into the other reasons but... spoilers, you know. I think Persona 4 is better than Persona 3 in every conceivable way, except for the very end. Persona 3's ending is maybe the best I've ever seen. "

So basically you sent them a massive spoiler about how the game ends? No wonder they don't read comments or emails about Persona 4 anymore. People like you ruin it for everyone. "

Well with all this true ending/normal ending talk, I'm interested to see what happens tomorrow. I don't know how much better the true ending is, but if it is significantly better than the normal, I hope they go for that.

Yay that was such a great run! I'm going to miss everyone :( I was no disappointed by Jeff and Vinny's reaction to Charlie's epic one-liner ("mmph!"). :D 
 
Oh and before you talk to Dojima on the final day, head to Junes food court TWICE after you talked with every crew member. There will be a nice surprise! :D

It's cool how Yosuke had the final hit on Adachi because he killed Saki. And then Charlie got the killing blow on the giant eyeball. :)

Was Jeff doing a bit of soul searching in this one? Eye boss looks great but for a maximum of 99 levels didn't seem that hard.

I've known it for a while now, but this episode makes it painfully obvious I should never have switched chie out for teddy. GOD'S HAND. DAYUM.
