I think the "Release everything... no, I mean everything" approach would make more sense if these games were a buck or two cheaper.  It's a solid concept but the games need to be more.... "disposable".  That's a good way to describe a service.  "This would be better if everything sold on it was more cheap and disposable!"
 
Granted, that's what a lot of these games feel like.  If they aren't actual classics, they're either short nostalgia trips or a way to cure morbid curiosity.

Atari Defender is crap, so Chopper Command's not a bad way to go. Well, I guess for that matter Air-Sea Battle plays a better game of Defender than Atari Defender.
 
I've never seen the arcade version of Konami's Ping Pong, but just looking at it makes me think that the C64 version is a pretty good conversion. I used to play that version a fair bit. Well, not a fair bit, but certainly more than a C64 emulation of table tennis probably deserved.

Today I learned there was a Atari comic so this wasn't a complete waste of time.

It seems like M$ is kind of giving up on game room.  It's like no effort is being put in to expand this service into something truly awesome.  If it weren't for these Giant Bomb Quick Looks, I would have probably forgot that game room existed.

My dad had Chopper Command on the 2600, it was one of the first games I ever played.  It was dope.

So the broken guy is gamespot's Kevin VanOrd.

i don't think i've laughed this hard at a quick look in ages.  motocross is f'n terrrrrrible.

When I watch these I imagine that this is how that person you live with that doesn't play video games sees what you're doing.  And I think I feel bad about it.

The Air Sea Battle dicks were fantastic.

Hey, I had chopper command! That one and snoopy and the red baron rank up there in 2600 games I owned that no one else did.

Air-Sea Battle looks a whole lot like that game that was on all the non-touch ipods.

I'm a HUGE  chopper command fan.  Activision made the best 2600 games.  "Smoke that thing off the table."

I wonder when they'll release The Empire Strikes Back for the 2600 and Star Wars Arcade,,,
