The new XBOX downloadable games are a total rip off.  It cost them virtually nothing to put them up there yet we still have to pay "full current price".

The Evo talk got the fast-forward, and the guest is a douche.
 
The brawler discussion was nice, but I can't believe nobody mentioned Guardian Heroes, Treasure's masterpiece of brawling on the Saturn, and arguably the last great brawler.

er... all that Guitar Hero 5 talk and no mention of its avatar inclusion? I thought that was a pretty significant upgrade. It doesn't convince me to buy one, though. I only bought the second one. I played it once, stored it for months, and sold it for a fraction of its cost. I suppose its hard to get people to play a videogame together when you have a regulation size pool table. Should have known better.

  I apologize if anyone has said this already, because I didn't see anyone say it.. but.. when they were talking about Halo as a film.. and the helmet situation.. I couldn't stop laughing at the thought of a love scene where the helmet stays on :p

You did a good job on the Bombcast. I hope you're back on again sometime. Some of these guys are a little too harsh on you.  
 
And GB staff, what was up with the sound? It wasn't terrible but it was really quiet. I had to turn my ipod up 75% just so I could hear it well. Other than that good bombcast this week.

My deep and sincere apologies for the sound quality this week, folks. Having five mics means we have to use a different mixer, which gives me far less flexibility when editing and adjusting levels after the fact. It's the same stuff we used during E3, which I thought turned out great, but I guess I've just been out of practice.
 
Next week, back to your regular-sounding Bombcast!

My score ended with a 3 or an 8 because of GRAW and was okay with it for a while.  At some point, I broke down and played Half Life 2 again to get the 2 point achievement.

i still think the funniest bombcasts were the one where they talked abot different varieties of milk and the one not long ago where jeff said he would jump across the table and strangle whoever it was.

Very interesting & informative podcast :)  As a victim of the weird achievement point (resulting in 1 or 6 for the last number), I'm all for a page on GiantBomb listing all the games that have non-5 or 10 interval achievement points. Personally I'm going with the one Crash Bandicoot game mentioned on the podcast to even out the score again to end in 5 or 0.
 
BTW just got done watching GI Joe in the theater & while not a complete waste of time (unlike the game) it's not the best ever. Of course I was too busy gazing at the apostasy pretty Baroness & interesting military tech to argue too much about the film. After the films I've seen in the past that were black holes of entertainment where they just plain were the peak of un-entertainment, GI Joe is at least entertaining in a 3 of 5 way & you could do a lot worse for movie watching.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is super cool.  I think it's aged just fine.
 
I rarely disagree with you guys, but it's surprising to me that Turtles is Time is getting hate.  It continues to be what it always was.  Isn't that in-line with expectations?  Isn't that worth $10?

The special guest was great btw.

There's actually a Lucky and wild arcade cabinet in a laundromat in my town. The second player trigger is loose, other than that it works completely fine. My sister and her friend actually hold the highest score. It's also nice that there's a big 'ole PSA from the director of the FBI at the start of the game.
