I like how they called out Yakuza 0 and Dragon Quest Heroes from Sony's pre-TGS show yet there was no mention of Resident Evil: Revelations 2 :o

I mean, I understand more than anyone why the overall perception for this series is what it is after 2012, but... That is unless they mention it during the emails segment, as I admittedly haven't finished listening to the whole thing. EDIT: Ha, and so they do. Still, weird why it wouldn't be brought up during the actual TGS recap, especially since it was shown right before Yakuza 0.

cool that there is a premium version available that I could download, but I use an RSS feed for my device (BeyondPod on Android) which I'm sure will only get the full ad version. Not that I mind as I've never had a problem listening to the ads on the show as they are actually entertaining.

edit: missed the RSS option on the podcast... may have to see if it will let me add it somehow.

Today is the day i switch to the Premium bombcast. Haven't listened to the whole show yet, but the ad at the beginning of this one lacked the creativity or fun that the former small business man ones had.

Giant Bomb should hire Hambo. Also holy shit Dan is a borderline hedonist.

totally, I don't see this premium version as a "plus", I miss out on the funny ads! "Premium" for me would have to be like an extra 20 mins or there was a "lets call Vinny" section.

I think that entire conversation revolving around "Metal Gear is Anime", eating bugs and Chicken Nuggets has helped me understand the inner workings of Dan Rykert's psyche a lot more, made even better by Brad's incredulity at it all and Jeff's desire to have the apocalypse happen.

Also Hambo is a true hero and is probably the perfect representation of Brad's approach to e-mail selection.

(I'm not going to lie, even if I thought this week's ads were a little less... creative than they usually are, a free box of food followed by me automatically cancelling the auto-renew sounds more relevant to my young demographic than easy website building tools)

And I will definetly will listen to this tomorrow, I'll clean the house or something for a contextual reason. To me, hearing these guys is way more interesting than the Pax event itself.

Dan is a weird guy. I like him. And I like that he likes whatever weird shit he wants to. But the dismissive attitude with everything else is just... Strange... Like, it seems that he's just joking, but why?

If there was an apocalypse having Jeff, Drew and Hardcore Dave you could take over the new world and create a GB nation.

Also Brad is a decent host but someone else should pick the emails.

Yo @danryckert Im the same age as you and got into anime a few years back... Dont worry, you wont vanish in a flash and be replaced with a nerdier version of yourself =) I ended up being me, just I watch anime. Its possible to enjoy something without taking on a whole new identity. Unless its meth.
