Only reason I have any interest in this game is due to the Firefly cast involved in the voice acting.  That probably means I'll rent it sometime and not buy it.  Was never a Halo fan at all really.

This is the 1st Halo game a could give a rats ass about. eh might as well add it to my gamefly queue. BTW that outlining of the enemy and opponent thing makes the game look outdated. Seriously i hope you can turn that crap off.

We need more Video Reviews! Although this review confirms my doubts about the game, I'll still pick this one up. Not purchasing any of the Halo 3 MP maps before makes the second disc worthwhile for me.

halo is way too played out

Exactly why I stay in party chat with friends even if they are playing other games. Honestly I've played enough Halo that I just play for fun now as opposed to the first year or so where I really tried hard to get a level 50. Now its all about cracking jokes and occasionally winning games.

Someone punch Jeff in the face or something? Anyway, great video review.

Oh man. That end part pretty much defines why I play random online matches of any video game without my headset.

I find it profoundly disturbing that I've seen several people (read: morons) coming in with comments concerned with Jeff's integrity. This is the man who was fired because he stuck it to an advertiser in the first place. These people fail at logic in the most fantastic way possible.

I don't know what I find most disturbing. People questioning Jeff's integrity, or people demanding to know why Jeff had a red mark on his cheek. Seriously, grow up or at least think twice before you go off on your daily rage-spree on the internet.
 
Either way, nice review, and especially nice to see a videoreview again! Somehow they always catch more interest than pure textreviews, heh.

Accept this review seemed much more designed and practiced, then the others on Giant Bomb. 
 
Expected much of this, but still you pulled it off in a very respectful manner.  Since Halo is such a touchy subject for gamers.

Dude im fifteen and I never annoy anyone on xbl, I would understand 13 and below, but 25+ seems too high. "

A very carefully worded review. I wouldn't have been surprised to have heard "fans of the genre" in there.
It had a different vibe to me than many of the other reviews, lacking in the humor/sarcasm that I expect from a gamer among gamers that we are so used to seeing in other reviews and quick looks.

I hope you have a boat ready for a quick escape.
