Well, I know what I'm watching tonight.

Overcooked manages to both be entertaining and stressful to watch at the same time. It seems like a pretty good local multiplayer game.

Wish I had a group to play these types of games with consistently. Watching them is a good 2nd-best I guess :)

This game looks great but a lack of meatspace co-op partners means I will never play it.

Ever since Jeff said Overcooked was a Mario Party mini game I can't unsee it.

NewbieTiP: No Dashing

I don't get how this turns into such a clusterfuck when they play with 4 people. The game never needs more than 3 cooks. A chopper, a distributer/cooker and a server/cleaner. Even with the dynamic play-field it's just a matter of switching roles accordingly, and with a fourth person you can simplify the roles even more.

This game does an amazing job at simulating the actual chaos of working in a restaurant.

The first 35 seconds of this made me laugh harder than the other ones, Drews sweater alone is amazing.

I miss the old style of game of the year videos, this feels like the content you make the rest of the year, GOTY used to be a bit more special.

GOTY skits were fun and there's some great stuff to be had there but I really prefer the approach of just getting everyone together to play rad games. Maybe it isn't that 'special' but it's super entertaining.

I enjoy it, just because they usually don't get together in those constellations. Especially Vinny is hilarious... his Hitsmas run will be something to remember

I kind of feel the same way, but I'm guessing it's probably more fun to play than watch. At least than you're a part of the chaos. Watching is just painful.

This was actually super entertaining. Really devious levels in this! Was super satisfying to see you guys knock so many of them out of the park.

Yea, I agree. Doesn't make for great content either.

I've played 3 people Overcooked and while in theory the roles should work well enough, the design of the levels makes it so it's actually way, way harder than 2 or 4 people, especially the later ones. You end up with kitchens that are split into 4 different roles, and one of the players needs to work way harder while another one is having a lot of wasted time.

Or maybe that's just being drunk and/or stoned at the time. But it does feel a lot harder than with 2/4 people, with the score requirements.

So this whole thing is Overcooked? I guess I can skip it then... seems like this game is fun actually playing with friends.. because watching it is like watching paint dry.

Best couch Co-op of the year. The satisfaction of implementing a plan as a team is demonstrated perfectly in this video.

This video is a real four-banger

There is a Mario Party minigame that is finding food in a store of some sort. This is just the next level of that...actually nevermind I'm fairly sure there were games I saw in the last two Mario Party Party videos that was the exact same games in the first....so they don't expand.

@rcath: Agreed. Any time they do actual skits, I totally cringe. Even the intro to these videos... oof. Rest of the content is a-ok.

o h my god that second map was so funny but then they smashed it with 3 stars but the first attempt was such a hot mess. great video. I would love to play this game but I don't have anywhere close to 4 friends to play games with.
