I agree with some of the others, I think I prefer this handheld chat with the crew over the produced I love Mondays.

It looks fascinating, like Dark Souls and Skyrim mixed with Monster Hunter and Shadow of the Colossus. It might be shit, it might be a cult hit, it might be a cult hit AND shit, who knows? I don't. All I know is i pre-ordered it and I just got the text from Amazon that it'll be here tomorrow. Ah, the adventure of discovering whether you wasted money on a game or not!

Was Patrick right for looking at it? I always wonder how they decide who looks at a game. I don't think he was one of the crew who 'gets' Dark Souls. But then, most of them didn't, even though it's amazing. Poor guys.

Patrick likes the Souls games. As does Vinny, and I think Brad admires them from a distance.

E3 is like, real soon isn't it. 

The best part of that video was Sara deciding to run the other way....and Jeff watching her leave using the camera.

@WrathOfBanja: C'mon dude, it's the biggest PC game out for a long while. The sheer weight of people playing it crashed Blizzard's servers. I think some people on this site are interested in hearing more about it; as are at least Jeff, Ryan, Drew and Brad by the sounds of it.

Also, I feel that console gamers need to more appreciative towards PC gamers. You don't fight PC Elitism with sarcasm and spite, you do it by accepting that they're interested in something you might not be. Maybe they won't care, those goddamn PC elitists, but less hate is always a good thing, right?

On another note, I really, really want Dragon's Dogma to be good.

They've become an engine for Vinny/Brad/Jeff/Ryan experiences, which I don't mind at all. I've honestly read like 3 reviews of theirs. I don't know why, but I don't see GB as a review site, it's my one-stop-shop for Bombcasts and QLs.

I.... what? I know it's the biggest PC game in a while, and I know it's a fun game, but how much more can they really do with it? Loot grinds aren't exactly fun to watch, especially with Brad being as massively overleveled as he is. And if you still want to hear more about it, then that's what the bombcast is for. You can hear all the information about the game without having to watch them fight through an hour of cannon fodder creeps. And... I'm sorry you don't feel appreciated?

If you think I want more Diablo coverage, you're wrong, but I at least understand that on popular gaming websites you cover the new games that a lot of people care about. I'm a console gamer with literally no interest in MMO's, but there just happens to be a lot of people who have different opinions than me. I didn't complain that I didn't get the coverage I wanted this week, because I know that the majority rules. Needs of the many v needs of the few, and all that. That's a life lesson too, by the way.

4 Hours of coverage in a slow week is fine and to be expected. Sure you don't find it interesting (funnily enough, neither do I), but there is a large amount of people who do. Look at the other comments, there are people who desperately want more Diablo 3 coverage. Sure, you might be louder than them with all your bitching and complaining, but you're still in the minority.

Sure the guys at Giant Bomb are great guys (and if any of them are reading this I greatly appreciate your hard work) but they are not here to satisfy just you and everyone who happens agrees with you. Their aim is to try and please as many people as possible, and if they do that by covering Diablo 3 more than Max Payne 3 or Battleship or whatever else came out last week, then that's what they've got to do. It's a business, first and foremost.

Appreciate THAT, sonnnnnnnn.

I don't know? You were the one who went off about how people who play games on console don't appreciate PC gamers... I thought my post had somehow offended you or something.

And just because they have a slow week doesn't mean they just have to keep playing the last big release until the next thing comes out. There are other games out there that they haven't already covered to death that are just getting ignored.

It seems like since they made the move things have been getting more and more fucked. I gave it some time but something feels wrong. The office looks shittier(with no sign of improving) and they are shooting on motherfucking flipcams. Casual is good but this is something else. The whole feel of what they're doing is dour and it seems like Giant Bomb is being starved to death.

Are they going to just give up and start independent again? What's going on?

I can't tell whether or not I want I Love Mondays to stay like this. It's great (me watching it on a Friday speaks to that), but I'm not sure how long the novelty will hold. It's cool getting the extra chatter though, rather than just a quick rundown of what's happening that week.

@rockhardalibi: I think I am starting to agree with you. While nothing has really gone away, the quality has kind of shot downward. It doesn't seem like they are trying as hard now that they have CBSi to back them up. Maybe they are working to hard on the site reboot. Hopefully things go back to normal.

I actually feel like they're trying their asses off, but getting no support. At Whiskey they were #1, now they have to deal with CBS for budget and it's taking a toll.

It just feels like they're going to be folded into Gamespot, and if I'm honest with myself I suppose they already have been. They were Fugazi, now they're The Clash.
