Yeah, all of the characters have an assortment of wrestling moves ect. One of Chris' is him actually picking up a fellow and just throwing him. Helena can also do a dropkick.

And it's not really a cover-based shooter. I played it on Veteran from the outset and I barely ever had to use cover. You mostly just run up to J'avo and start melee'ing 'em. It's not an especially difficult game, but it is a frustrating one. Pretty much all of the boss battles are horrendous.

@Brad i think its just a big dissapointment how capcom treated this game this generation , im going to continue playing this game for the story but this will probably be my last resident evil expierence. im looking forward to what you say in the podcast !!

"Just discovered yesterday that you can roll" Really? I figured it out the first time I played the demo. Doesn't everyone else just experiment with the controls when first starting a new game? From the demo I can tell the game is not as good as either 4 or 5 but man some of the reviews that are coming out just seem a little exaggerated. The menus are shit and the gameplay is not as tight as 4 or 5 but come on! 3s and 4s? That would mean this game is one of the worst in years! And I find that hard to believe.

Hopefully Vinny plays it. I'm sure he will find some positives instead of just nit picking the game to death. The game seems competent at the very least. But whatever, I guess I haven't played the full game. So who knows!? Maybe it's the biggest piece of shit in the history of video games like the guys make it out to be.

I want to play Resident Evil 6. Not because it looks like a good game. The demo was really bad but I want to know.

@Mexican_Brownie: I would not call the controls intuitive. I only figured out how to roll from reading it online. I would never experiment with the controls to the point of "hold this, press that, tap this" to see if that combination does anything different.

That sounds super cool and exciting and exactly want I want from any game, regardless of whether of not they used to be survival horror games.

Wow, I am kinda surprised that everybody is disappointed with Resident Evil 6. I thought that it was going to be better than what they say it is like....interesting...

Drew writing down something like a boss on his secret pad! Its a shame about how RE6 turned out. It seems a bit divisive at this point. I have seen some good scores and then jim sterling gives it a 3/10 on destructoid and kevin vanord gives a 4/10 on gamestop. I thought RE5 was an ok action game on PC but RE6 seems like it misses the point completely and seems almost like a parody of bad modern game design.

That game is awesome. A nice fighting system what with the dodge, Gleam, parry system and the perk, magic, leveling up and upgrade mechanics.

Yes! Double Dragon Neon actually has really solid, fun, gameplay mechanics in addition to an appealing visual style, and wacky/goofy story. It's like this game was made for the Giant Bomb crowd, and it blows me away that Jeff openly hates the game so much.

@biggiedubs: Nothing really comes to mind. Though there's definitely plenty of outlandish nonsense; one of the boss battles is essentially a fleshy tyrannosaurus rex. And in Jake's campaign you get to have a fist fight with this guy. And there's also some crappy vehicular segments where you're riding a snowmobile, a sports bike, a humvee and even a fucking jet.

To be honest the game is so overblown and so action-orientated that nothing really stands out as especially ''stupid''... it all kinda fits in with the overall tone the game has. In Chris' and Jake's campaigns especially.

Oh man. I've never seen Brad so upset with a game. I guess i'll listen and pass on RE6. I'm so disappointed, I wanted something before Dead Space 3.

That sucks that they probably aren't going to do Fifa and NBA Quick Looks. The NCAA, Madden, and NHL videos are some of the best videos they've done in recent months.

I'm just going to finish up DOA5's story so I can send it back to gamefly. Other than that I'll probably just keep playing Pirate Warriors and Tokyo Jungle cause needless grinding is just what I need to cleanse my palette. I've heard nothing but negative impressions about RE6 even before this video so it will probably be the first main Resident Evil game that I don't play. I'm excited for X-Com and Dishonored next week but this week looks like kind of a snooze. Looking forward to coverage on the site regardless of what you guys do.
