Terry Bogard is coming to smash, there's going to be a sequel to Deadly Premonition and people spent time and money porting Devil May Cry 2 to Switch. Games these days is nuts y'all

I would’ve traded Terry Bogard for Raiden/Big Bear you can even have a Big Van Vader skin for him!

Why does the Direct audio sound like it's coming from a mic in the studio?

It seems like when the level on their speaker is high enough the feed audio cuts out? Goes back and forth, very strange.

I love how the announcer says "and now for a shocker" in regards to the original DP being released on the Switch. Like somehow the release of DP2 is less shocking than that.

I'm so glad they were talking over this one. Tokyo Mirage Sessions was my GotY in 2016 and a Switch port was my biggest wish; that game deserves more love from a wider audience.

... And then they followed it up with Deadly Premonition 2. And SWERY's on board. Throw in more cool Pokémon news and this might be up there as my all-time favourite Direct. Only Bayo 3 was absent.

I have a sudden urge to rewatch the Ryan/Brad Deadly Premonition ER.

Cool stuff in here, but very discouraging to not hear a single word about Super Mario Maker 2. What's going on with the supposed upcoming patch to play with friends? Any DLC plans? Fuck, even news about an equivalent to the SMM1 bookmark site would be huge to me. As far as I know the game's been successful, so to give off the impression that they've released it and immediately stopped caring about it doesn't make me happy.

Without exaggeration, the Vinny/Geff endurance run of Deadly Premonition is honestly the best piece of entertainment I've experienced in my life. I've watched the whole series like 4 times now. I look forward to the duo getting together for Deadly Premonition 2 if possible.

I played through Ni no Kuni 1 last year wishing it was on switch the entire time! If you're scared of the grind just look for the Tokotokos!

You should. Ryan's infectious enthusiasm for the game's batshit craziness by the end makes the whole thing worth it. As a duo Ryan and Brad can't really compete with Jeff and Vinny, but Ryan seemed by far the most into the game and it's why I enjoyed their playthrough more.
